So this is… new.

My name is Ava. I’m pretty sure I don’t know most of you and I’m not very good at introductions so I’ll keep it brief - it’s been an interesting few days. If anyone knows a place to get a very stiff drink or a very decadent cake; do let me know. I’m going to assume specific cravings are normal after having just been transported to a new universe.

The welcome and landing are always a bit jarring, but it doesn't take too long to get used to. It's attempting to wrap your head around the what ifs and maybes.

I can imagine. This universe has been better for me than the other one, so mostly I'm glad. But it's definitely an adjustment. Any weird cravings for you when you popped in here?

That tends to be the case in some situations.

Hmm, not particularly but I had memories eaten away instead of leaving my universe from on moment to the next. I can recommend the best dim sum place though. It's only a few blocks over from the apartment building, if you've decided to reside there.

Personally, I can imagine losing certain memories would be a blessing. But maybe that is different for you.

I would love dim sum just about anytime of the day, especially if it's close to 30 Warren. Would you like to join me?

I tend toward preferring my mind not messed with, but yes, sometimes it does have its upsides.

I will always jump at a chance to get dim sum. Just let me know when and I'll be happy to go.
