Carol nodded her head in agreement. They'd even heard about them all on Hala. She'd heard all kinds of things, but she knew better than to just assume one thing about a place and a people. Everyone thought the Kree were great, when they really weren't. "Oh yeah. Though it's complicated and not really my fault. A big thing happened. I got super powers. And then I got kidnapped by Kree, spent a while thinking I was one of them. That's as simply as I can put it," she said with a laugh. "I like Earth but space is home."

"I like Midgard but it's not home, so I understand that feeling. And it is also hard to find out that things you've believed to be true about yourself and those you care for are wrong. I do not need to know your tale to know that it must have been difficult. Especially since that isn't the reputation of the Kree--not that I disbelieve you but they have certainly put forward a different face in their dealings with other beings.

"Yeah. They're.. not great. Have you heard of the Skrulls? They're not actually horrible, it's just what the Kree tell everyone so that they can send out Destroyers and other weapons without having to explain themselves." Which was something that she still was intent on stopping. As soon as she had time to do it. And figured out a way to dismantle a whole society.

Carol nodded. "I plan on it. Unless something calls me onward. But I like it here. It would be nice to put down roots."

"I've had some dealings with both. Let us say that your tale doesn't entirely surprise me." Sif's smile was a little flat.

"MIdgard has been very welcoming to my people. I like it too. Though not, I think, as much as Thor. I hope you are able to stay and put down, as you say, roots." Which was a funny way of putting it, but also quite sensible in its own way given how Sif thought of the realms.

"Thanks. I hope that you find .. whatever it is that you might be looking for." She didn't want to assume that Sif wanted to stay here. Probably just the opposite. Being trapped was never any fun, no matter who you were.

"Well I'll leave you to it. It was nice meeting you, Sif." She gave a smile and a little bow before she turned to make her way towards someone else.
