"Like right now." Nick was greatly entertained watching the paparazzi be very confused as to where exactly Steve Rogers was, and how no one seemed to notice he was wearing different outfits at the same time.

But what she said was true. There was no way anyone in their group, SHIELD or Avengers that would be thinking of quitting. And if they did, more power to them. This kind of work ...it was intoxicating. It was hard to do anything else really. He gave a look at her, this woman he considered as close to him as a daughter and really wondered what her life could have been like if she hadn't been molded.

It made him sad sometimes. She hadn't deserved all of this.

"You think of quitting anytime? You could you know."

"Yes, and just imagine how useful it'd be if it were enemies confused by things instead of just the media." Natasha had encountered a few of the confused crowds rushing this way and that at the whisper of a sighting of Steve. He was the main attraction today despite the company he kept that was also here.

She blinked at him. The thought had never crossed her mind. It clearly hadn't in the memories from the other timeline. If anything, she'd simply settled in and taken on the mantle of everyone else that had been snapped away. It wasn't in her to quit. "And miss out on all the fun? I could never."

"We do have fun," he responded almost grudgingly. At the end of the day, that was why he was still in this. The day he stopped enjoying himself was the day he needed to step away. When you lose perspective, you lose everything.

"But remember: it's a balance game. Find something to fill your time, Nat. You can't train all the time. Prepare for nothing so you're never surprised. Rule number one."

It wasn't what most people considered fun, but for her the challenge of a mission and everything that could go wrong on it was something that was hard to replace with anything else in life. She sometimes wondered if she'd ever get to the point where quitting was a serious thought because it still hadn't happened yet.

"Why does everyone think I don't do anything but work? I have hobbies." Natasha did. They just weren't what everyone else considered hobbies. It wasn't her fault she liked leveling up her hacking skills or breaking into high security places or just roaming the city and finding whatever trouble came her way. Beside, she now had check ins with Ava to ensure they weren't each getting locked into being too work focused.

	Natasha just gave Fury a look. It's not that his words didn't have merit. Just the idea of baby booties wasn't her thing. Not at all. It'd been a good thing they'd traveled all over the world for SHIELD when it came to gifting Clint's children. "I'll consider the travel." Exploring the world was always a good thing.
