Who: Sarah Fawcett & Percy Weasley
What: Percy's got a fever... but more cowbell probably wouldn't help.
When: 18 January, Tuesday
Where: St. Mungo's
Rating: TBD
Whenever possible, Percy preferred to self-medicate.
He'd suffered a mild bout of Vanishing Sickness at sixteen and had been doing just fine on his own before his mother had insisted he be treated, and since he had moved out of the Burrow had avoided Healers all together. A very small part of Percy realized this was rather paranoid, but a greater part of him felt that a man of intelligence and distinction, one who had twelve O.W.L.s, top marks in his N.E.W.T.s, and an impressive position at the Ministry of Magic, did not need to strip to his skivvies and submit to the attentions of lesser qualified witches and wizards.
So it was with reluctance that after two weeks of failed attempts to rid himself of recurring and debilitating headaches, and some rather adverse side-affects to having mixed several tonics himself, he scheduled an appointment at St. Mungo's.
Waiting now in the small, pastel examination room, Percy could only hope that the proceedings would be short, and relatively painless. He had not avoided Quidditch and most of the outdoors without reason, after all.
