viewable to the ship
right, i suppose personal pet projects are put to the side for the time. anyway, who wants to have some magic cast on them, and test out some theories of mine? alas it does not help the one person who's an expert in the magic i'm considering is kidnapped but i'm nothing if not determined.

tyreal will frown at me, but he already does that and he's not here to judge me. if you're shy with blood i'd not recommend giving me a hand here. good chance we'll have to use some.

i'm told you've already started on some ideas, i may have some more to add to it.

What exactly is your goal? To try and protect from kidnapping or to track those with the ship, it seems there could be a few options based on what you're saying.

ideally, this would do both because ideally if it's based on an amulet enough defensive wards can be put into that to knock out anything trying to mess with it. however, amulets can be removed.

so right now, i'm going to work on tracking. that should be relatively easy.

Have you spoken with the communications people? I've heard them Blabber talk about trying to track people down with magic and communications, this sounds like something that might work with what they are doing too.
