Do you ever think to yourself nothing could surprise you anymore and then the universe (the universes, actually) says, “LOL you thought”? Because, yeah. I’m having that happen again being here. Not that I was here before in this exact same scenario. But I’ve been in the one where nothing can surprise me and then it does. Probably some kind of universal humility thing, but mostly it’s just all kinds of !!! and a lot of 😧😧😧 Because I don’t think picking a few things up at the bodega down the street needs to be humbled? But then I’m here instead of there saying hi to the bodega cat and picking up chips and milk and bread and stuff.

And being here, I’ve got questions.

1. I saw something about Mr. Stark? If he’s here, does that mean

1. What’s a floating intern? I know what an intern is but is this one floating because SPACE or floating like I’ll be in different areas of the science department? Both are cool for the record.

2. To my roommates, Ginny and Nico, are there rules I should know? More than the obvious ones like pick up your mess and change the toilet paper roll and put the toilet seat and lid down.

3. People randomly get powers here??? What? How?

4. What do people do for fun? If there’s jobs, there’s fun, right? So are there movie nights or game nights?

5. Is there anything I should really, really know in general? The orientation and your stuff was great, but any insider tips and tricks for living here?

Am I? If I look young, and I am young, but I look young to you, and you've seen me when I'm not as young, maybe I am, but it might be me from the future? So I might be one day, and I might already have been, at the same time. Because time is a construct.

I think you were like in your thirties or something still look the same but younger.

I was in the city, about to start my first year of medical school, granted that was a few months ago, but we ran into each other, and told me about how my Dad saved you once.

And yeah, everyone thinks I'm too old here, that's nothing new. It's kind of annoy

I guess it’s nice to know I age well?

Oh! Hah. Yeah he did. Like so many times He and Black Widow and the other Avengers against I was like 8 or something at the Stark Expo and I kinda thought it was me at first who blasted the robot but it was Iron Man and I probably just wanted to do that thing that in retrospect is really embarrassing but wanted to kind of be like hey your dad was awesome let me share a positive experience with you and I’m so so so for having done that or for going to do that. 😅

I’ve gotten the age thing before but not from this. But maybe we can do a thing where if anyone says we’re older or younger when we’re just our age we can say naw that’s how they’re supposed to be it’s clearly a you thing. Maybe. We don’t have to. Just a thought. I’m gonna go now ugh sorry

They have cheeseburgers in space?! Oh man that’s so good to hear. What about churros? Chopped cheese sandwiches? Pastrami? Pizza? It’s all real food right? Not dehydrated stuff?

They have everything here. Several water parks, bars and restaurants, holodecks. Those are my favorite because I can play the drums with some of my favorite bands.

I like a lot of my Dad's old stuff, AC/DC and Bon Jovi. I also really like No Bounds and AIEK. They're both KPop groups and Straight Anthem, they sound a lot like those garage band types like Green Day and Sum 41, with excellent drums.

I don’t know a lot of K-pop bands but it sounds like some variety and some good drums! Is there music here or just whatever we might have had on us when we got here?

Don't get me wrong, I have no idea what they're saying. I should've taken up Korean, but I learned Spanish instead.

And don't think I haven't noticed that you've gotten off-topic.

I haven’t taken Korean but there’s a lot of languages I should check into learning at least a little off.

Hey it wasn’t intentional! Food is really important, and I needed to know about it.
