OKAY, I have a secret but it honestly seems really personal and sad and I don't want to say what it is. I tore it up into tiny pieces and threw it away.

But I will say this -- whoever you are, everyone makes mistakes. And I'm sure you did what you thought was best at the time.

	I get it. I mean, not that I'm a werewolf, but I get things being complicated. When I was in the demon realm, I missed my mom and wanted to go home, but I also ... didn't... even though it hurt her for me to be away. Especially when she didn't know where I was. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

I'm just trusting this stays between us, but

....my mom and I don't get along. Even when I was a kid, she was hard to deal with and it's only gotten worse. Finally turning didn't solve those problems, it just made her stop obsessing about what might be wrong with my lycanthropy. She just replaced that worry with other stuff.

If I didn't turn, I wouldn't be part of a pack. Essentially, I'd be shunned by werewolves at home. That's fucking terrifying, but it's also kind of a relief because my obligation to stay with my family and our pack wouldn't exist.

But I'm sorry about everything with your mom. I don't know what that's like, but I can imagine it'd be painful.

I'm sorry. That's a really sucky situation to grow up in. It couldn't have been easy.

Is there a lot of pressure to stay with your family & pack? That'd be hard for me. I'm very much a march to my old drummer type of person.

Yeah, there were a lot of rough moments, but it worked out in the end. She came to join us in trying to save the demon realm. And ended up being okay with me going back there for witch university.

	It's okay. I'm used to it, so it's not a big deal. But yes. Even if you marry or move away, the pressure is to stay with your pack or join the pack of a mate. Sure, that'd be nice. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
