At the mark of the 22nd century, the human race finally cracked the code on intergalactic space travel, allowing anyone and everyone to explore the deep levels of space. New galaxies were found as alien races were discovered. Humans finally realized that they weren’t the only people in the universe, let alone the smartest race. Humanity struggled to find its place in the newly discovered community of races and most humans dwindled away, never to be seen again. As new technologies were discovered, the 'aliens' found out how much they really held a distaste for the humans.
