Just 120 miles south of Los Angeles and adjacent to the Mexican border lies the town of San Diego, California. It doesn’t get a lot of notice even though it’s the eighth largest city in the United States and the fastest growing city in California. No, it’s usually eclipsed by its neighbor to the north, The City of Angels as it’s called. Truth be told there is a lot going on in San Diego right now.

A lot more than anyone knows.

You see something strange has been going on. Nobody knows what it is or how it started but the fabric of time and space has been ripped open and San Diego is now a world all its own. Except for one small thing. It’s not entirely alone.

Tijuana came along for the ride.

Tijuana, the largest Mexican city on the Baja Peninsula and the sister city to San Diego. It’s a busy place and a popular destination for American citizens looking for a good time. You can find anything you want there and a few things that you might want but probably don’t need. It’s never dull in Tijuana that’s for sure.

So what happens when people start appearing in front of an apartment building in San Diego with nothing aside from the clothes on their backs and are met by a small group of citizens who hand then a set of keys, a pre-loaded debit card with $5000 on it, a smart phone, tablet, laptop and a small handbook detailing a little about the city with some suggestions about where they can find jobs? Oh yes and by the way, you can’t leave. Sorry. You’re free to travel to Tijuana all you want, you can work there if you choose but for now you’re living in this building with a lot of people that you may or may not know.

So welcome to the border...but don’t make a run for it. You won’t get far. And with what's lurking out there, do you really want to try?

[info]bordermods is a pan-fandom game set in the cities of San Diego, California and Tijuana, Mexico. The emphasis is on good old-fashioned social interaction, writing, and having a good time.

Some scientific experiments go horribly wrong and when they do they have the potential to be world ending. Literally.

In 2240 an advanced society on earth is desperate to locate a suitable planet to expand to as the Milky Way exhibits mysterious activity and earth crumbles beneath the demands of its ever increasing population. In an age where time travel, immortality, genetic modification and cloning aren't new the hope rests on a Warp-Drive that will theoretically enable scientists to reach a new planet in time.

But serious miscalculations send scientists traveling along the wrong dimension. The accident, known simply as 'the Event,' opened a portal to other timelines sparking the influx of beings from other dimensions into their own world.

What do you do when the science fucks up?

The Lost and Found

[info]lostandfoundmod
[info]anythingbuthp

"It does not matter where or why, but who we are."

The world is filled with so many types of people, it seems near impossible to keep track of all of them. But that is what "They" do. It's unclear when "They" started, how "They" became so organized, but as long as anyone can remember, "They" have been there in the shadows, watching. Few people know who "They" really are, what "They" are called, but their purpose is well known throughout supernaturals; "They" keep you safe. Safe from the humans, safe from other supernatural species.

Sometimes, safe from yourself.

This is where L'académie des Objets Trouvés comes in. Affectionately called The Lost and Found, it is a school where supernaturals are taught to hone their skills, hide their telling physical attributes, and adapt to living in the world of the humans. Only .03% of the world population are supernatural, and it is only through the close monitoring and assimilation strategy of schools like this that they have continued to thrive undetected.

The Lost and Found is a supernatural school with a complicated history and an easy premise. Players can play as students or teachers, and can choose from a variety of supernatural races (or suggest their own!). It's just like any other boarding school- grades, tests, dances, rumors, crushes, roommates, and bad cafeteria food. The only difference is here, your teacher really is a demon. Well... there is one additional difference, just a small, minor catch.

You're not allowed to leave until "They" decide you're ready.

A Neverland RP: Savage Garden

Unwanted, unloved -- these are apt descriptors for the boys and girls who come to live in Pan's Treehouse. Promised a better life and a family of sorts, their unknown role is as pawns in a centuries-long war between a band of unruly youths and a legion of undead pirates. Peter Pan is their prince in this war, and his Lost boys play the role of his generals, sworn to protect the imaginaries in their charge. In exchange for this protection - as well as everlasting life and the love they were once denied - they are expected to fulfill the terms of the blood oath: whenever a Lost needs or desires, an imaginary must allow him to feed. A small price to pay when darkness looms ahead.

All must prepare for a war unlike any Neverland has seen, for the newly arisen captain of the pirate ship The Devil's Whore awaits... and he has a blood contract of his own to fulfill.
