Healing Earth welcome home.
Humans have always been problematic creatures, no matter where they go… trouble just seems to follow. And throughout human history, trouble has followed plenty of times. In the year 2186, trouble hit its precipice. We had explored the solar system, we were close to breaking interstellar travel out of the box, we were damn sure aliens were out there. But advancement always came at a cost - jealousy and the want to be first.

3 stations orbited Earth and a colony was thriving on Mars. They were the only reason humanity survived.

You’ve all heard it enough times, nuclear fallout is a bitch and it doesn’t go quietly into the night. It wasn’t just one event, but it never is just one - is it? Not in reality. It took the world about 9 years to fully knock itself off the map. It went in bits and pieces, more people flooded to the skies and eventually… most of everyone in orbit used the fledgling interstellar tech to get away. Far away.

Generations later, they returned. It took almost 560 years for people to inhabit Earth again. Something about going home spoke to some people. But Earth was changed, it wasn’t whatever they left behind. That was 90 years ago, and now? It's kinda like the wild west, except you won’t die of dysentery. At least, as long as you aren’t a dumbass. Plus, you can go to space! How cool is that? The spacers are kinda different though. May as well be a whole other world for you to explore.

a grimdark fantasy roleplay
PREMISE
It was in the cold of winter that the houses of Basilia and Volkov made a pact for their daughter of House Basilia and the son and heir to House Volkov would marry, thus uniting the houses and forming an alliance between the countries of Prospemeria and Stryla. An agreement was made and celebrations were in order, but first the princess was to meet with House Volkov, and though the journey across the sea was dangerous and would take a month at the longest, both families were optimistic about the prospect of an alliance. though they knew the journey across the sea would be a month long perilous trek, no one could have predicted the fierce storm that dashed the ship into the jagged coast of Stryla. There were no survivors. When word reached house Basilia that their daughter never arrived, they were devastated. Immediately, blame was pointed towards House Volkov, and suspicions rose that perhaps the noble Strylan house might have murdered her in cold blood. Tensions were high, but it wasn’t until a dragon from Prospemeria crossed the border, doing damage to their forests with its fire and causing damage to their territory by an out of control forest fire that the tension rose to a boiling point and war was officially declared.

    Welcome to Easthaven, a developing seaside town along the southeast coast of Britain. It is like any other spa town and seaside resort of the early 19th century, where visitors come yearly for the health benefits of the sea. A mysterious benefactor has since taken an interest here, where small, strange things have begun to occur. Pockets of magic have popped up, and the longer one stays, the more likely they are to find themselves changed.

    Easthaven is an upcoming Regency Era game set in a fictional seaside town. Characters may be pulled from any regency-era canon, including but not limited to the works of Jane Austen or other similar media. We encourage diversity in play, and hope to create a safe and enjoyable space for us to enjoy writing. My goal is to encourage collaboration in writing and the development of plot, magic systems, and characters.

    All around the world people whisper about the mysterious circus which appears somewhere in the world- anywhere in the world- and opens its gates when the sun sets.     Mission Atlantis was formed three years after Battle Atlantis. While things had been peaceful for the past few years, and Atlantis was able to grow and prosper, new threats started to appear throughout the worlds.

    In February 2023, Atlantis Naval Base received a panicked call from the past that terrorists aligned with COS and believe in their cause are planning an attack in the future.

    For years, the TARDIS traveled throughout time with her Doctor. Together, they visited many important events in time, met people and creatures from all walks of life, and had adventures worth telling stories about. And though the face of her Doctor changed from time to time, he was still hers, and she was happy to travel throughout space and time.

    And then, one day, her Doctor was gone. How he disappeared, she did not know. He just vanished. Distraught, the TARDIS began to travel through space and time, searching for him. But no matter how hard she looked, she could not find him. So, she decided to use her powers in different ways. She began to pull people inside of her, hoping that one of them might be her Doctor.

    But none of them were her Doctor. In fact, she began to pull people from different universes, universes with no Doctor at all. And the people that she has pulled that know the Doctor, none of them seem to know her Doctor. Even the ones that are the Doctor themselves. None of them are her.

    So the TARDIS travels, to different times, universes, and worlds, searching for her Doctor. The people that she pulls from other universes are free to roam the TARDIS as they please, and explore these new times and universes, and face the challenges that come with them.
