JJ had gotten up early, she wasn't nearly as beat as her brother and Liam must have been. Emotionally drained, sure but not as physically or mentally tired. She made herself some coffee and grabbed a small pack of jerky from one of the bins along with a long bread thing that said 'biscotti' on it. With her coffee in a thermos and her food in her backpack she left TJ a note and headed next door to her workshop. The note informed him where she'd be with a small map of where it was, mentioning where there was some food he could take and water- also that the coffee was fresh. She knew she shouldn't leave him alone with all her stuff, he could just take it and run. But she was trusting that what happened the previous day had worked. She had to believe that.
As she sat at her workbench dismantling an old portable camera she had laying around she heard the door open. JJ felt her heart start to race and pushed the sleeves up on her shirt and moved to the front room to see who it was. The place was a one room shack with a tiny kitchen and toilet. Almost every inch was covered in some sort of mechanical or electronic device or parts. Shelves lined the walls and there were stacks of containers all filled with various parts and items to be fixed or broken down. The back room was just as full, but there was a clear section where things seemed to be laid out separately and notes littered a shelf keeping track of what was what, these were current projects she was working on- or planning to work on.
Seeing TJ standing there she tucked some hair behind her ear. "Hi."
