Tears fell loose from her eyes as she buried her head against his chest, feeling his warmth. She'd missed him so much. He'd missed so much. "I tried to go to Vegas like we talked, but it was sort of overrun by real bad guys... but this place has been a good home." She sniffed slightly and pulled out of the hug, wiping her face almost pretending as if she'd not just been a weeping pile of mush. "There's a lot more..." She glanced to her computer. "When you come back I can put them on a thing and you can listen if you want. There's stories and stuff... all for you." Oh she knew it would probably keep him busy for weeks and didn't expect him to listen to them all but even a few he might at least sort of catch up.
She leaned back against the bench and sort of picked at the wood counter as she thought of something. "You know when you come back, maybe you can help guard some of the scavenger groups. I know Roz is pretty handy, but she could always have someone watching her back. She's real nice too." At least JJ though so. She didn't even get mad when she gave her call signs like 'gecko' and 'salamander'.
