WHO: Robbie Stebbins and Roger Davies
WHEN: BACKDATED to Monday, 25th July, morning
WHERE: Level 2, Ministry of Magic
WHAT: Robbie and Roger have things to discuss
Usually one for patience, Robbie had found it incredibly difficult to wait the weekend for Roger to finally be free from his duties. In fact, he'd been up quite early this morning, normal so that he could fit in a pre-work gym session, but today, he'd frustratedly paced up and down his office until he'd received the flying memo from the secretary in the DMLE that he'd expressly ordered to contact him the moment Roger was finished.
Clutching the memo in his hand, where it twitched and fluttered against his tight grip, Robbie marched along the hallways of Level One, tapped his toe and stared stonily at the doors on the short lift ride to Level Two and ignoring all the other passengers, then marched towards the MAB offices.
He cast his gaze around the busy room, his brows lowered and eyes narrowed as he searched for Roger, but he couldn't find the other bloke. Had he already made his way home? he thought with annoyance, mind immediately jumping to the useless secretary that had brought him down here with her poor information and he quickly found the girl and began to make his way over to her desk.
Robbie hadn't thought much more to the conversation he wanted, needed, to have with Roger than 'What the bloody hell?' with regards to the detainment of Padma Patil. The message he'd received through Romilda had had him bolting from the cafe, panic and concern powering him through the weekend and the negotiations and meetings he'd had to ensure her hasty release from her questionings. She would obviously have suffered some, and he had to console himself with the fact that he'd not let it be prolonged. And now, he was angry with Roger. It was misplaced and he hadn't thought it through too much, and he'd likely get swiftly corrected, but he needed to discuss it with Roger, if only to find out what had been going on.
"Roger Davies," he snapped at the secretary without preamble, shaking the memo at her. "Has he clocked off yet or not? I told you to notify me the moment he was available."
