WHO: Tracey Davis Montague and Marcus Flint
WHEN: June 28, 2005, evening
WHERE: the Ministry and then Knaresborough
WHAT: a flight and a chat
RATING: R likely for language
By the time she arrived at the Ministry's Atrium Tracey was more than curious as to why Marcus Flint wanted to see her. Two meetings in two weeks? That couldn't be coincidence, could it? Still she could not get what Astoria had said out of her mind. Or how easily Isaac had brought up Marcus' name and then even asked her 'what if Marcus was his lover?' Well? What if he is? Would that be better than her husband running off with some trampy bint? Neither thought was comfortable and she was sure she'd rather not know definitively.
Her greeting with Marcus was brief and after a quick disapparation to Knaresborough Tracey was given a quick tour that led directly to the gardens. Her compliments were plenty. She remarked on everything. It was a haven. Beautiful and idyllic and she was jealous of living such an existence. But her true reaction came at seeing the half-pitch. A gasp followed by a loud 'whoop!' She gave a half-hearted smack against Marcus' bicep in her enthusiasm.
"Your pitch is incredible." It didn't take long and they were in the air and she felt free with the wind whipping against her skin. She made a quick lap and pulled her broom along Marc's. "Gonna tell me why you really invited me here. The day after my wedding to your brother-in-law and I just saw you yesterday. I suspect it has something to do with that."
