I'm Samantha. I'm an 18-year-old university student in Pennsylvania, but originally from New Jersey. I'm majoring in Psychology and Philosophy with a possible minor in Sociology? I like most indie music, shun television, am liberal and agnostic but pretty open-minded. I like traveling (last semester I studied abroad in London !) and adventuring pretty much whenever I have the chance, but I'm also a huge reader - I pretty much spend half my days reading.

I'll add pretty much anyone unless our views on life really clash. I do comment and read and everything, and I try to update once every few days.

I came here from GJ and LJ, I was swan at GJ and noirduck on LJ, basically I'm posting here because I don't know what happen with my friends so I want to make new ones ^^

I've had an IJ account since December, and an LJ account (I'm "ranka" over there) for a few years. I still have my LJ account, but the two are mirrors. I've also had my entries there copied here. My journal's semi-friends only. I'm an atheist in the sense of one who does not believe in a deity (rather than one who believes in the non-existence of deities), but I have no problem with religious people. As long as you don't try to convert me, we should get along just fine. I like to meet all kinds of people. Vive la différance. :-) Race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, neurology, politics, age, whatever, it's all cool.

I generally post every day, and sometimes several times a day. I like comments, but I don't have any expectations about comments. I don't get upset about people who don't comment. I don't comment a whole lot, but I do make some comments.

Hey there! I'm a LJ refugee and as my friends there aren't interessed in coming here, I search for new friends.

I'm almost 20years old and live in Germany (meaning some of my posts will be in German, but 80% are in bad English). I'm currently on a free year and wait until I can sign in at university.
I write about my daily world of insanity, manga, people who piss me off, movies, music and people who piss me off even more. I mght sound like a dramaqueen but I detest it, trust me. My interests range from manga, Tim Burton movies, music, graphic designing to photographie, Japanese fashion and history
And what I maybe should add - I'm lesbian and I will ramble a lot about girls I find attractive and yuri manga I read. Yay!

how do you even start these things, you know? HI [8 i'm anera! i'm newly 19 and will be applying to nursing school soon (woo!). IN MY FREE TIME i like to cry over upcoming chemistry exams, eat oranges, and listen to music at questionably high decibels. i'm big on arabic/indian/greek music, tvxq, super junior, big bang, and some JE groups.. but i have a pretty wide variety of musical tastes. i'm bilingual, a twin, a big fan of lowercase letters, and am known to make the occasional science joke. naturally this is all part of my irresistible charm. right now i'm reading loveless and watching code geass, but i'm always up for good recs! i also follow house, grey's anatomy (come back now please), & lost when i have the time. generally, i'm a pretty busy person. NOT ONLY THAT, but i am a pro at making scrambled eggs. yeah, i know. ANYWAY i'd like to think i'm pretty fun! i post pictures, upload music, talk about a whole LOT of different things, and am pretty good about commenting.
