JEEEEEEEAAAAAAN!
Howdy, y'all! Amanda here, showing yet again how very weak I am. Sigh.

For your consideration, I present Ms. Jean Grey, played by the lovely Sophia Bush. You can find her full bio here, but here's a brief rundown. She turned 29 last month, she likes to cook, and she and Scott are meant to be, yo. Since Movieverse!Jean didn't really have much of a personality (to go along with her equally personality-less boyfriend), the only thing I've really kept from that incarnation is that she's on the school's medical staff. She's not a surgeon or anything so if you get that effed up she's hauling your clumsy ass to the hospital, but she's good with mild injuries, common illnesses, checkups, that kind of thing.

That said, Jean is friendly, soft spoken, levelheaded, and more than a little bit of a den mother. As one of the older residents at the school, she's more or less taken on the role of surrogate mom to the younger kids and big sister to the older ones. If you ever need extra help outside of class, she'll be happy to accommodate you; likewise, if you need an extra person to fill out your bowling team, she could probably be talked into that, too. She's often the one who has to scold students (okay, and the occasional coworker) who get too rowdy, so some of the students probably think she's as much of a stick-in-the-mud as SCOOOOOOOTTTTTTT! Scott. Really, though, Jean's just a peacemaker and she likes to maintain that peace. She's not a total buzzkill, however, as she loves to have fun and just be silly now and then, regardless of how much of an authority figure she's supposed to be. She takes her job seriously, but she plays hard, too. So, yeah. Just remember that.

As for plot ideas and potential scenes, obviously anything with Scott would be appreciated. Scenes with Alex, plz? She hates that he and Scott don't get along well (her sister's her best friend! Why can't Scott and Alex act that way?), so now and then she takes it upon herself to play mediator between them. But she also genuinely likes Alex in his own right, too, so she wants to hang out with him sometimes.

She and Betsy, I think, could get along marvelously. They're both former models (except Jean's totally jealous starstruck because Betsy got to do all the awesome couture stuff) and they're both telepaths. And, as I pointed out in her bio, they both have great hair! Yeah. Totally a bonding point.

Would be pretty awesome if she worked with Julian on his telekinesis (and really, where's he gonna find a better teacher?), and if she just so happens to steal one of Emma's prized students from her, well, so be it. :P

Ideas? Thoughts? Let me know!

Sweeeeeeeeeeet! Jean! Glad to see you got her in the game!

I don't really have much to add outside of what we joked about in the OOC chat. Jamie hurts himself to get face time with Jean. He mostly does this so he can be around Jean without being around Scott. He kind of hates Scott cause cannon is fun and amusing.

Bwahaha dude, I'm totally down for this being a running gag. Jean thinks something's a little suspicious, but who knows, maybe Jamie really is just that clumsy. But eventually it dawns on her what he's doing and she's like, "...Jamie. Sweetheart. I don't mean to crush your spirit here or anything, but...you do realize I'm a lot older than you, right? And that what you're thinking right now would technically be illegal?" A pause, and then a scrunchy face of disgust, "And that would be illegal in several countries, and probably require years of therapy."

The icon is what Jamie wants to do with Jean.

Hahahahaha, that'd be awesome for it to become a running gag. "Jamie.. how did you get an arrow in your leg?" "I shot myself." *skeptical* "No! Seriously.. duplicates.. remember? It was an accident though. At least.. I hope it was..."

Jamie: ""Pfft, age ain't nothing but a number!" And he'll be totally confused about why she doesn't like him but likes Scott.

We're going to form a comedy duo. Or maybe just write a sitcom. The Jean and Jamie Show. Has a certain ring to it, no?

That bio had me laughing so much while I was reading it =D I'm so happy we have a Jean again!

Terry says yay for redheads! and thinks Jean is pretty awesome, but it's unfortunate about that whole "being with Scott" thing. Really, Jean could find someone way more fun.

David's a bit shy around her and uber respectful, like he is around most hot women older than him.

*bows* I aim to please! And yay, thanks! I've never played her before but she's always been one of my favorite characters (what can I say? I'm attracted to fire-related mutants, I guess), so we'll see what happens. :)

Yes! They can form the Ginger Appreciation Club...but with a better name, because the acronym GAC sounds like a cat hacking up a hairball, which isn't exactly the right message to convey. And don't be hatin' on her man, yo. Scott's just...reserved, is all. Yeah.

D'aww. As always, Jean would be thrilled to work with another telepath and help him develop, and she'd probably even make cupcakes so that he felt more at ease working one-on-one with her, lol.

JEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!111111!!!!!

Scott LOVES Jean! LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVES! JEAN!! SO MUCH, SO MSGHJSAGAJRG|SAGHRHJU|S MUCH!!!! Really, it's disgusting how love-sick he is with JEAAAAAAAAAAN OTP OTP OTP. He will never leave her alone <3!! That being said, hopefully Emma can be the thorn in Jean's side, as Scott's been having a bit of a wandering visor~ (ONLY MARGINAL!) HEY! Jean was flirting with Logan! bb gets jealous :(! Also, since they've been boyfriend-girlfriend since like... the BEGINNING OF TIME with their "special" and "pure" love. (Love Jean long time?) Scott's thinking of maybe sort of one day sometime soon perhaps asking her THE QUESTION.

And, before there was Emma, there was Jean. Regan probably had a student-mentor relationship with Jean since she was her main adviser when it came to her powers before Emma swooped in and swept little Wyngarde under her authoritative white wings. Jean and Regan probably have a falling out of sorts as she eventually stopped going to her for advice on her powers and training, although I'd imagine she would awkwardly approach Jean if she had a question about her abilities that she deemed "too dumb" to approach Emma about. ALSO! Regan's dad is BIG CREEPER! around Jean, and is totally obsessed with her. Parent teacher interviews for the lose for Jean lol. We must plot! ;) BIG SECRET PLANS~!

And Julian says "YEAH! AWESOME!" training with a REAL telekinetic! He's down for it, and doesn't see why Emma would have a problem with it... RIGHT EMMA? (Oh Jules <3... silly, silly!)

Callisto is all, "LOOK, I KNOW I KIDNAPPED YOUR BOYFRIEND AND TRIED TO MAKE HIM MY SEWER-HUSBAND-KING, BUT THAT WAS A LONG TIME AGO AND ITS COOL NOW, RIGHT? *UNSPOKEN AND AWKWARD*"

That is a lotta capslock right there. o_O Which is obviously the only way to roll with Scott and Jeeeeean, because that's how PURE their love is. PURE AND TRUE AND FOREVER ARE YOU LISTENING YOU PLASTIC HOMEWRECKER FROST?!

Jean's totes okay with Scott never leaving her alone. Fully down with said thorn in the side, and not to go off on a tangent here, but how the hell does Scott get all these hot telepathic chicks lusting after him? Jean, Maddie, Emma, Betsy that one time way back when...I mean, I can understand going after Marsden!Scott, but comics!Scott? Ehhh...

This is approximately what Jean's reaction is to THE QUESTION: as;dlfkjw;oaisjf;lskfjw;oijfa;slkjwlomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomg...okay!

Knowing Jean, she probably blames herself for "losing" Regan to Emma. "Didn't she like me enough? Was I a bad teacher? Did that homewrecker Emma say something to her?" And she'd still be friendly with Regan and everything and try to understand that sometimes people just click better with others, but she'll still probably feel like SHE did something wrong, y'know? And let's not talk about Regan's creepy ass dad, because Jean's already getting a little twitchy and feeling the need to shower. Best parent-teacher conference EVARRR.

Hee. Poor Julian. *pats his widdle head* If Emma wants to take one of Jean's students, then Jean should be able to take one of hers. Not that that's really her motive at all, nooo. Just so happens that she's really the only other telekinetic around and Julian just so happens to need a mentor. So. *whistles*

Speaking of creepy...lol just fyi, "Sewer Husband King" would be a pretty awesome album title. ANYWAY. Jean is still >______< around Cal and not really all that comfortable around her or even having her at the school, but she seems to genuinely want to make things right, so Jean cuts her some slack. She just...doesn't trust her in a room alone with Scott, is all. :D

Once Scott's balls drop and he has the guts to ask, Jean will be the first one to know :P! (He's a big puss about this QUESTION lol.) And UGH I know!!!! Don't even get me started on this lmao, because I have torn my hair out over it. I DO NOT KNOW what makes SCOTT SUMMERS such a telepathic!chick magnet. His mind must be so blank, refreshingly empty and all that.

:( Oh Jean! It's not your fault! <3. Regan's so lost now, she's totally Emma's little pet- except she's too big to fit into Emma's purse :P. Regan hasn't totally forsaken Jean- just mostly forsaken her. She'll still be nice/cool with her old mentor, just a hell of a lot more snottier than Jean could ever remember her being. (But big daddy Wyngarde wants to talk to Jean! <3 Gross. So GROSS!)

Julian's excited. "WHEN DO WE BEGIN!?!" He's going to try to "show off", and we know that will end in disaster.

Callisto doesn't have to be a telepath to recognize this mild animosity, so it's just going to be awkward if they get together or happen to bump into each other at the photocopier or something. XD; Scott doesn't like Cal all that much either, and is still very touchy about the whole thing, and I'm sure he's (gossiped) talked to Jean about this and expressed his concerns too.

heee well, I'm sure at the time Jean'll be like, "Oh...oh, well, okay, yeah! Yes!" all mildly surprised and happy like but ultimately calm. Only afterward, once she has a chance to really process it, will she go batshit and go running to...someone (oh God, poor Hank, if he happens to be in the medbay with her...) to squeal and glee all over the place and do the normal obnoxious girly thing. And then in the middle of the night, she'll wake Scott up just to make sure she hadn't just dreamed all that. Because she's that schmoopy, yes. :P

It's okay, Jean'll figure out soon enough that Emma preys on the conflicted and easily swayed. ;) AND NO TO DADDY WYNGARDE OMG. haha the muse is seriously already trying to come up with any excuse she can think of not to have to talk to that creep. Or look at him. Or even acknowledge his existence in the same hemisphere.

Bwahaha oh, Jules. I foresee unintentional destruction of property and Jean wincing as she tries to put a positive spin on it. "Um...well, your aim could use some work, but did you see how far that truck went? That was fantastic!"

Jean's getting a little peeved with everyone trying to nab her man, so yeah, those awkward run-ins at the copier should be fun. Like I said, she won't be outwardly hostile or anything, but def. won't go out of her way to be friendly until she's well and truly certain that Cal's on the up and up. Which, uh, could be a long, long time, lol.

Emma Frost. Mwaha. I feel like any time Jean speaks in a faculty meeting Emma is rolling her eyes and flapping her arms over dramatically on the astral plane. She's just TOO cookie cutter and sweet and still believes the best in people. She's only in the early stages of playing games with Scott. Emma hasn't quite fallen for the stick in the mud yet but she will soon; she'll be messing with her man in some form so let the homewrecking begin.

Sam Guthrie says, "Howdy, yur purty." Don't know that they have much interaction.

Warren Worthington III acts like the faculty are his peers and always have. That being said, he's likely to be both his most casual and most formal around Jean. He wants to impress her in more ways than one and I imagine he's flirted with her before. War's well aware he's a student and it will never happen though, so I imagine it's more of the charming variety and he doesn't over invest in it. If that makes any sense. He puts on the act but then lets it go until he sees her next; he doesn't obsess and dwell on her after.

Rahne Sinclair would relate to Jean's peacekeeping ways if she knew about them. Really, Rahne respects Jean anyway just for being so nice and apparently stable from her perspective. Redheads have to stick together? I'm not toying in my head of Jean being an example for Rahne; she's at that age where she needs to start planning her life and staying at the school to teach could be more enticing through Jean's example.

Bobby Drake with Jean is probably just like their earliest canon days (which despite the fact she's older here isn't actually all that creepy for once). He's constantly trying to show off around her and thinks she's the hottest teacher. Of course, he also thinks Frost and her fakeness is hot so he's not the best judge but he has a lot of loyalty to Jean. She's been here since he first arrived years ago and likely patched up plenty of injuries on him before his tote bag of a nurse Josh came along.

Sofia Mantega will tell her how pretty she is and is jealous of her hair.

I miss talking to you, clearly!

Likewise, anytime Emma speaks, Jean is going to be making a fist and digging her nails into her palm to stifle any, ah, less than pleasant remarks she might have. But nuh uh, you do not screw around with her man, 'cause it'll get straight up Jerry Springer in here. *snap*

D'awwww. Jean thinks Sam's adorable, and while I'm not sure either if they'd interact that much, I'm sure they'd get along just fine. They could bond over books or something, I dunno.

Jean's kind of conflicted about Warren. On the one hand, she knows she needs to treat him like any other student and she should respect his apparent wish that the faculty maintain some level of distance, but at the same time she can't help but treat him more like a friend than a student. I think it'd be pretty neat to explore that a little, maybe as Warren starts to progress from student to equal, you know? As for the flirting, I'm sure Jean is flattered and isn't above some very mild flirting of her own, but she also realizes they both know it's just a casual, friendly thing and is treated accordingly. So yeah, that totally makes sense. Is also considerably less unsettling than Jamie's more, um, direct approach to spending time with her. :P

Rahne, obviously, will also need to become a founding member of Jean's and Terry's Ginger Appreciation Club. And since Rahne has a natural talent for teaching, Jean could totally relate to that, from the thrill of students showing honest interest in their work to the frustration of students cutting class and not paying the slightest bit of attention. And while Jean's a little hesitant about anyone using her as a role model, she's deeply flattered and considers it an honor. :)

Ha! I figure Bobby's really kind of a teacher's pet for Jean; he's a sweet kid and she's known him longer than a lot of the other kids, so she probably lets him get by with more than other students, or even more than other teachers would put up with. Still, she has to just roll her eyes and bite her tongue when Bobby spends more time building giant useless ice sculptures on the lawn than he does actually pushing his powers to find out what their limits are. Yes, yes, he's a teenage boy and as such isn't the smartest, most mature creature on the planet, but still.

Aw, Sofia. <3 She kills Jean because of how sweet and bubbly she is, and more than likely Jean will naturally gravitate toward that. I can def. see her adopting Sofia as kind of a mini-me, going shopping with her and such. Fun times! :)

Clearly I have missed you, too! lol I'm shutting up now, honest. :)

Even if Emma were to suddenly find Scott the most unexciting person in the world (which she wouldn't for some reason; damn her libido), she would still flirt and muck with Scott just to get Jean's reaction. It's not like nice little girls like Jean would ever dare get their hands dirty anyway - right?

Poor Sam has nothing going for him. Maybe when Pete Wisdom makes him badass people will remember he's there. I imagine Sam and Jean could always have a discussion about Jay re: his suicides if that ever came up. Sam was in the dark for a long, long time on that and might be kind of out-of-character mad about the fact Jean kept it from him too. Unless you want to say she tried cluing him in and he was just dense. "Go check on your brother!" "Aw'ight Mizz Grey, mebbe inna mornin'!"

Bobby would totally realize, appreciate, and inadvertently take advantage of all the leeway that Jean gives him. If she ever called him out he'd be much more likely to apologize or settle down in a situation because he respects her; it may not be for long, but it's longer than it would be for Scott right now. "Scooter was mean to me!" etc.

Sofia would die to have Jean or really any adult as a shopping partner. She loves to get various peoples feedback and would LOVE, yes LOVE the opportunity to shop and pick out things for someone of Jean's build and complexion - not to mention that hair. Sofia will gladly help her with her hair and everything. It seems overly girly, but Sofia is excited by most anything. She'll be inappropriate and invite Jean to go dancing with her and some of the other girls as if she was a student from time to time too.

Ordinarily, no, Jean is pretty non-confrontational...except when it comes to things she's willing to fight for. And that's when it can get nasty. Threaten her students and friends or touch her man, and it's on like Donkey Kong.

Hmm. I don't know, I think it might actually be more interesting if she knew but hadn't told Sam because of that whole confidentiality thing. I don't think it'd be OOC for Sam to get mad, either; he's mild-mannered and easygoing, sure, but he's also super protective of his family and if he thought someone was putting them in danger, yeah.

"Inadvertently" my ass, lol. But yes, by all means, if she's going to give him that slack, he should take full advantage of it.

Ha! Jean's already in love with Sofia a little bit, lol. Sometime over summer break, they need to make a trip into New York to go shopping and get mani-pedis and just have a general girls' day out. As for going out dancing, ehhh...Jean's tempted, but wondering if there's some kind of teacher/student line she'd be crossing. Plus, dancing. In public. o_O

I'm excited to see how Jean and Emma play out. I feel like it could go a thousand different ways and they'll all be entertaining ... as well as lead to disaster.

Very true on Sam and his family protectiveness. I guess it felt weird to type out just because off all the "yay Jean is so nice and sweet" followed up with "HOW COULD YOU...!" Luckily Sam of all people holding a grudge or resentment doesn't ultimately mean much and he'd try to make amends if he crossed a line, but he'd still feel like he should know. Clearly he is Lucinda Guthrie when she's not actually around to play ma.

Also, Bobby would like to retroactively apologize for making Jean hang with him when he was infirmary bound when he got shot in the head a few months ago. Because I imagine her and Hank got him yammering in their ears and following them everywhere. Not to mention begging to be free from observation or get more ice cream.

Sofia would love it. Of course, she'd love it even if Logan took her for mani-pedis, but that's for completely different reasons. She has a really positive view of all the teaching staff given her limited encounters and loves living at the mansion with them. She doesn't even understand what the fuss about Emma is all about. "Look how perfectly ironed her suits are!" As for dancing in public, Sofia thinks it's silly to have such inhibitions. Sofia might be worse than the Hellfire Club in getting Jean to throw her checks and balances out the door on her desires.

I wanna see Jean try a "kill her with kindness" approach to Emma. For a while, anyway, before the claws come out. Epic.

hahaha aw, poor Sam. But it's understandable. I mean, Jean would probably be surprised (as surprised as a good telepath ever is, I guess) but she wouldn't hold a grudge against him or anything, since she can understand where he's coming from. BUT. She'd also make it a point to try to get him to understand that he needs to do the same for her. Jay confides in her because she's the school counselor, yes, but she's also not related to him and not in a position to judge him, so he probably feels more comfortable talking to her than he would even his own family. If he says or does something to upset her, not a huge deal, she's just a teacher, right? But if he says or does something to mess up his family dynamics, then that's something he's going to have to live with for a long time. So yeah, basically I think Jean will simultaneously try to reassure Sam that there really are some things families can't share, and at the same time tell him that she's keeping an eye on Jay and he should really relax a little before that vein in his neck explodes. ;)

bwahaha no worries. I imagine Jean fussed over Bobby lyke wo at first, but quickly grew tired of his annoying little dog routine -- you know, the kind who have those shrill little yaps who never shut up and who stay right under your feet so you're always in danger of stepping on them and sometimes you really want to because oh my God they just won't shut up but you can't because they look up at you with those cute little faces and big eyes and you instantly feel guilty for ever thinking such a thing so you immediately buy their affections with treats and then do penance by pretending they don't really annoy you at all.

Yeah. Bobby's totally like that.

Jean's trying really hard to keep her thoughts to herself right now. "Yes, yes, her suits are perfectly ironed, just as flat and smooth as can be. But just like her face, they didn't get that way naturally."

And...and oh God, now I'm just imagining Sofia and Creepy Ass Wyngarde (seriously, I'm going to just start calling him that from now on) working their magic on Jean's poor psyche until she finally snaps and either turns into a power-hungry, merciless god or auditions for So You Think You Can Dance. As you do.

The kindness may not kill her but it'll certainly pain her a great deal, like sunlight to a vampire. The number of actions Emma might do against Jean out of spite may rise after that phase, much like she does with Raven but that's more due to her being One Suspicious Bitch.

When it comes to family, Sam definitely overreacts and finds ways to blame himself ultimately. Jay confiding in Jean, no matter how big the font is on her name plate that says "guidance counselor" still translates in his head as a failure for him to be an approachable brother. I imagine he'll mostly grumble and sulk accordingly than take it out on Jean ever, though. At least while he's still in his fumbling stage of life. There may be cartoon-like steam out the ears, though.

This Bobby example is completely true. At least to compensate for never shutting up he actually compliments her endlessly; sometimes without actually needing something!

Sofia is a great looking girl and likes to think so, but she'd totally admit up front that she'd totally want to have plastic surgery too when she got confirmation about Emma. Sofia's endless energy and intrigue unfortunately doesn't come with a lot of rationality. As for Wynstache, Sofia would ... probably be too distracted with the porn'stache and wanting to shave it for him. "May I? Please? You are ruining a good ruffled shirt look for nothing!"

Jeeeeeeeeean~ This pleases me greatly. :3

Remy actually started laying off his overt flirting with her (though he still does it from time to time when Scott's in the room to piss off Scott) after learning his father tried to wine and dine her during parent-teacher week. But he still thinks Jean is smoking hot. And is an easy target for riling up Scott. And damn all, he likes pissing off Scott this summer. Jean might need to try having a talk with him.

Nessa... WHY DO I NEVER KNOW WITH NESS? D: She's fairly terrified of telepaths (despite, y'know, those shields she has to consciously take down), but I think of all them, she might trust Jean the most? She needs a professor who isn't Sean who tells her from time to time she ought to be there (soon Pete Wisdom/Ness thread, really! I will get my act together! *determined face*)

Jay had the most with Jean in the past. She helped him through his overdose and saved him from drowning when he lost his powers, and was the only professor Jay ever told his problems to. He definitely sees her as a big sister type (despite, y'know, being the kid there with a big sister already there) and trusts her a lot. He cares a lot about her - not in a Jamie illegal way XD

Sean can be with the gingers on his good days, right? Right? XD He likes Jean and might have treated her a bit like a daughter when he started out - before he realized he had his own daughter. He thinks she has a good heart on her shoulders and a great heart and all that sappy stuff he thinks about (and will maybe unknowingly tempt around Emma a bit to give Jean and Scott a little more time? XDXD *still bad at Emma/Sean, sooooo much a Moira girl*)

Doreen LOVES EVERYONE.

Heee I was just thinking about a Jean/Remy thread earlier, actually. I def. think that Jean takes issue with Scott always being so hard on Remy. You can try to instill discipline in someone without being completely discouraging, y'know? She doesn't see Remy as a lost cause at all. Difficult, certainly, but more in the "free spirit" sense than a "useless waste of space" sense. So, ah, in return for having Scott's ear in that respect, she might make a deal with him. No more blatant flirting just to jack up Scott's blood pressure.

Well, Jean does serve the counselor role, so yeah, she'd totally be down for giving Ness someone to talk to and bounce ideas off of, and maybe bringing her freshly baked cookies to show her she's welcome, lol. I imagine that after the initial attack, Jean was pretty o___O around Ness, but she's a pretty forgiving sort (at least once), so once Vanessa opened up a little about all the effed up Weapon X crap, Jean would almost certainly welcome her back into the fold and try to help smooth her way back into the school. (And yay, Ness/Pete! <3)

Jean takes Jay's trust very seriously -- well, like she does with all the students, but since he's the first to ever confide in her anything of that magnitude, it's especially touching for her. So anytime he wants to just come hang out in her office and chat about random stuff, or yell about his douchey roommate (*cough*) or whatever, Jean's a-okay with that. She, uh, might also be keeping tabs on him to make sure he's not going off the deep end again, but only when she thinks he might be having a rough time; otherwise, she knows he trusts her not to pry in his business, so she respects that and in turn trusts him to come to her if there's something bothering him that he can't talk to Paige about.

Of course Sean can join the ginger club! They're already amassing quite a roster, lol. Jean adores Sean, thinks he's a really good guy (okay, and maybe she loves the accent, too) and probably goes out with him for coffee on a regular basis. She might be the counselor, but when she needs advice, I bet Sean's her go-to guy. He might not have an answer, but at least his accent sugarcoats everything. :D

lmao meanwhile, I am at a total loss as to how Jean + Doreen (heh) would interact. I imagine Jean's a bit protective of Doreen, given that she's one of the youngest students (is she the youngest, even?) and is pretty unusual to boot, so she's ripe material for potential bullies. Plus, Jean is strangely fascinated by the idea of talking to squirrels, because the only thing she can imagine them ever saying is, "Surrender that breadstick and no one gets hurt!" Which, now that I think of it, probably isn't that far off-base...

JEEEEEEAAAANNN!1111!!!!

Ok so.

Kurt was definitely in need of some mentoring and such when he first arrived at the school 3ish years ago, so I figure he's talked to Jean about stuff before. He likes/respects/trusts her as he does the rest of the staff.

Jono...I could see Jean helping him out with his telepathy stuff, or maybe she has in the past? Also if she is the counselor-y type I'm sure he gets sent to see her quite a bit.

Pietro...I'm not really sure XD He's mostly just the annoying trouble-maker type, who like most of the boys thinks Jean is totally hot.

And Josh is doing an independent study with Dr. McCoy for medical type things so I could totally see him studying with Jean as well. Not to mention he spends a lot of time in the infirmary what with his tendency to almost die/pass out/go into a coma and his being called down there to heal various injuries on a regular basis.

Woooo!

Hee, Kurt. <3 Jean's got a soft spot for the elf. Okay, softer than all her other soft spots. He's smart and sweet and funny and def. a boy after her own heart. Along with Bobby, he's probably her adopted little brother of choice.

lawlz "So Jono, I heard you've been working on your telepathy. That's great. I also heard you used it to get drunk and then ended up coming back and threatening to throw your roommate out the window. I think we need to reevaluate what I meant when I said I wanted you to explore your talents more thoroughly."

Pietro, I imagine, probably tends to rub Jean the wrong way (er...). She thinks he's a decent kid and all, but there's a definite line between confidence and arrogance, and he slides too far into the latter for her liking. Still, she'll be cordial with him just like everyone else until he gives her a reason not to be. :)

Def. Jean/Josh interaction. When he's in the med center doing his usual work, Jean might pull him aside now and then to give him some hands-on training. Er, so to speak. She wants him to learn how to help people medically as well as magically. ;) She thinks he's a good guy with a good head on his shoulders and has a lot of potential, so she'd be happy to help him out if/when he needs it.

Yay! I definitely like this :) Kurt very much appreciates the big sister-ness!

LOL absolutely. This needs to happen. It will be great XD I think Betsy and Jono are going to get drunk at some point in the near future so I will make sure there is some belligerence involved lmao. Which reminds me, we should have more Pete/Jono times. He should teach Jono to drive or something ridic haha.

And yes, we will totally thread Jean/Josh!

Betsy wants to be best friends with Jean! <3 <3 <3
So I guess I'll start there. XD As you said, with the model thing (especially now that Betsy is back in it) and AMAZING hair, and the whole telepaths thing... I would love for them to be buddies. They've also both felt someone close to them die, which can be a great bonding thing. Maybe Jean can become Betsy's power teacher? Betsy is looking for help with that... :D

Tandy... loves everyone. <3

Laurie... will be terrified of her, like she is of everyone, but she'll like her once she gets to know her, especially when compared to Miss Frost. >.>

YAY JEAN!

Uh... I don't have much. Rogue, Wanda, Paige... all up for playing. ^^ I think Paige probably admires her and has tons of questions every time she goes in for a check-up, or whatever. Rogue may have to be dragged in for check-ups, or physicals or whatever. And Wanda doesn't really notice either way...

But I'm down for anything! Thoughts?
