Who: Tandy and OTA
Where: By the pool
When: Monday after training, June 28
What: Tandy is starting to worry about what she's going to do with the rest of her life... and clearly the best solution is to dance! And then swim after a good work-out.
Tandy had learned quickly that dancing in her room was not a good idea. The now partially broken lamp shade near her bed was proof of this now known fact. So as Tandy sat at her computer, skimming through the local university catalog and trying to pick out what major she wanted to pursue, she found that she was getting unusually frustrated, which to her meant one thing.
A nice long dance session was in order.
Dancing always made her feel better, and there was no use dwelling on something she didn't have an answer to anyway, right?
So as the numerous degree titles cluttered her mind Tandy changed into her bathing suit- so she could go for a swim once she had worked up a sweat dancing- and slipped a white tank top and dark blue dance shorts on over her suit before grabbing her iPod and speakers and making her way down the hall and outside.
Her flip-flops smacking the ground as she went along, Tandy reached the pool and set up her iPod away from the water near the grass. She slipped her flip-flops off and hit the play button, letting her playlist start wherever she had left off last. Bare feet feeling the grass under her feet, Tandy spun a couple of times, getting a feel for the dance surface, before beginning a quick stretch. As her playlist went to the next song, a smile stretched across her face as "You" came on. She instantly began to move with the music, the choreo coming naturally as she danced oblivious to anyone around her. Though Tandy had trained in ballet mostly, she had looked into other dance styles as well before running away, and she loved modern dancing and mixing all the styles she had learned. Going into a modern routine, Tandy had little fear of people watching- after all, if someone did show up maybe they would want to dance too!
