It has been 24 years since the fall of Voldemort on that fateful June night at Hogwarts, and although it took awhile to rebuild the Wizarding world to what it once was, the world has been stronger than ever. With the help of so many people that now were on the side of good, the Ministry was able to get up and working once again, under the watchful eye of their wonderful new Minister of Magic, Kingsley Shacklebolt. And the little Wizarding school was able to go back to what it was put there for; teaching young Wizards and Witches how to be just that. They took in students from far and wide, different and alike, from Wizarding blood or Muggle blood. And the school grew and rebuilt itself to be the greatest school in History. The Landing is a spot on the grounds of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and spot built in the safe woods just on the edge of the Black Lake, far from Hagrid's Hut and the Black woods of the Forbidden Forrest, hidden from the sight of the feared Caretaker and the Headmaster and his Professors. It was built by mischief makers that had attended the school after the War, put there for the sole purpose of being a secret meeting spot for friends, groups, or couples, for any use from parties to plotting to just enjoying the evening sky. It hasn't been discovered yet, but the students are still careful. The only way to get to it is Invisibility cloak--which is rare--or the hidden passageway on the fourth floor back corridor, behind the statue of a dancing House Elf. Once upon a time, it accepted all promising students who had magical aptitude, but now, any time that Muggleborns and halfbloods were ever accepted is a distant memory, in favor of rigid social classes and tradition. Students are ingrained with a sense of superiority or inferiority [one that often starts at home], a respect for tradition and appropriate social behavior, and most importantly a strong desire to succeed and to be the best. 7:14p	No Such Place: An Original Fantasy RPG “ . . . All that was left in Pandora's box was hope.” During the 21st century, a global pandemic swept over the world. They dubbed it the “Pandora Virus,” calling it PV for short, because of its devastating nature. The virus tore through the world’s population, killing almost one-third of humanity in its first month alone. Countries everywhere grew panicked, believing it to be a work of biological terrorism. Nation stood against nation, and a worldwide war began. Much of earth was laid to waste within just a handful of months by the combined effects of nuclear war and the Pandora Virus. Survivors immune to the virus found the world uninhabitable, and many of them perished due to radiation poisoning or famine. There were others, though. Others who inhabited this planet along with human beings, but they had been in hiding for many centuries. Praeternaturals. Legendary beings and creatures believed to be nothing more than myth. All of them were also biologically immune to the Pandora Virus. With the foresight of the oracle named Euryale, groups of praeternaturals learned of what was to come and prepared for the preordained onslaught. They built safe havens in hidden areas across the world protected heavily by magic and often shielded by mountains or large bodies of water. Taking in as many humans and praeternaturals alike as they could before the war, these communities provided a stable living environment for the survival of all species. One such safe haven is an ancient land once inhabited by elves that was abandoned by them long ago. It has been renovated into a sanctuary and renamed to Elysium. Located in the modern-day Republic of Macedonia near Lake Ohrid, it was once a part of Greece. Now, it is a part of the process to one day rebuild the world. Game Objective. No Such Place is an action-oriented drama catering to various genres. Though the setting is fantasy, this is merely to incorporate more aspects of game play and further possibilities beyond the realm of the real world. Whether you prefer action, drama, romance, or horror — this game allows you to play all and pick your favorite to explore. We actively incorporate various game-wide plots that involve everyone in one way or another. Your objective is to create your own story. However, beware the setting. Everything affects everything, and like a domino effect, No Such Place will affect every character and player with things beyond their control. Go ahead, take refuge in the land of Elysium. Are they doomed to repeat themselves over and over again with each human retelling? Do they continue to progress and grow even when their most avid fans & biographers stopped listening to them decades, even centuries ago? Pentamerone is the last stronghold of human imagination. The hundreds of magical lands and worlds that used to exist in the minds of children are now in a state of decay. As a result, the figures of legend have fled to this newly imagined land. Some are afraid Pentamerone will merely become a graveyard for the last of the fairy tales, others are determined to start a new life in their promised land.
