Wizard Love

We now proudly present the reveal list for the 2009 wizard_love fic and art exchange. Thank you to everyone who participated, whether they wrote, drew or just commented. We appreciate your involvement. Overall, the exchange went fantastically, with very few hitches and we appreciate that when there were problems, those involved were able to work with us to get things sorted to everyone's satisfaction.

Feel free to answer your comments now, and/or repost the fic/art anywhere you'd like. They're all yours to share. If you haven't thanked your gifter yet, then please do!

We need to give extra thanks to our intrepid pinch hitters who helped out: emiime, florahart, hey_rupert, joanne_c, luvscharlie, nephthysmoon, okydoky, r_becca, shellydkitty, summerborn, teshara and most especially eeyore9990 who wrote us a whopping three pinch hits. The woman clearly never met a rare pair she couldn't wrangle into submission (and we love her for it!). A special thanks also goes out to itsbeenvery who had to drop out due to a broken wrist and then was able to come back again after all! (If we've forgotten anyone, please feel free to smack us!)

My co-mod, katesque, also gets a special round of applause for making up special icons for each and every one of our participants this year. If you haven't seen them, go to the InsaneJournal site and check them out. You're more than welcome to take yours for future use.

Unfortunately, we're not sure if there will be a wizard_love 2010 exchange yet. This year was extremely difficult due to some serious personal issues which cropped up right after sign ups, and right now, there's no way of knowing where things will be at seven months from now. Stay tuned to this comm for future notices.

Just wanted to drop a note and let you all know that we're finally finished with posting. Reveals will be posted on Friday, March 27 (barring any more bad karma Real Life dumps on both of your mods). So, take the time to go through all the amazing fic and art that we've posted over the last 6 weeks and comment, comment, comment. Everyone did an incredible job and they all deserve your adulation.

Thanks again to all of our artists and writers for their hard work and patience -- if either of us had known just how tough the last four months were going to be, there probably would not have been an exchange this year. You guys made it all worth the effort.
