It's a thing I inherited from father, losing my temper can cause problems, so I try not to.

I should have guessed? I knew my father had a long life before my mother and I came along. He's from a completely different country, he didn't expect her to happen, he just wanted to be alone. It seems silly to think he didn't have a family in hundreds of years before I was born.

I understand, in a way. Not that I've much of a temper, but showing emotion can get a Magister killed back home. So I've had to learn to hold some of it back too.

It's not as if you should have guessed, it's probably just something you didn't really think about because why would you? Are you upset at yourself or upset that the only reason your father told you was because of all the children showing up here, so he basically panicked?

	It's frustrating, isn't it? Sometimes you just want to smash something without a little voice telling you to ~school your anger~. It feels selfish and unfair to be upset when they're no longer living, that's not fair to them. But I'm tired of only getting answers because he has to, not because he wants. 	Both are good outlets. Perhaps you could try. I know it's hard - I didn't have difficult conversations with my father for a very long time, we just let the resentment fester, and then he was killed. 	Well, we did reconcile, somewhat. He wanted to use blood magic to change me, and it - I think he regretted it, but it was just very difficult to try to forgive. It's good that he's trying. 	Towards the end he was trying to protect me, but I ended up inheriting his seat in the Magisterium when he was assassinated anyway. But at any rate. My heart, hm?
