Isn't this just typical? Here I was, looking forward to being dead and expecting to maybe get some rest for the first time in years, and what happens instead? I get pulled into some sort of bureaucratic hellscape with the formality and the explanations.

Shit. I kept expecting Elias to pop his head up the whole time and be like, "Forever means forever, Tim," with that smug, punchable face of his. At least that would have given me some stress relief.

I'd half thing none of it had ended if there wasn't so much order to this place. But no. This doesn't make sense as anything but what they said it was. As much sense as that makes.

And least I've gotten used to rolling with the punches.
