The clearly dreamt card is pitch black and dusted by magically twinkling stars. Ursa Major lights up then fades. The constellation Boötes flashes brighter, particularly one star, then goes dim again. To get the card to reveal itself, Gansey will first need to speak the name of the bright star (Arcturus). This will make the words "tell me a story" float across the card. Only then will reciting a quote from The Mists of Avalon reveal the real message: To the only goddamn king that ever mattered: Esto perpetue. Those words fade too and a map of the Barns appears, leading Gansey to a spot far out on the edges of the property.■
