What kind of place is 'The Fright Zone'? How does anyone think that's a good name for a place? And, at that, who would live there and think that's the place where the good guys live?!

On the plus side, I've sent the script I'm interested in back to my agent.

[Nebula]
Waters called me again about the horror movie. Can I ask you really really really nicely to somehow make him understand that no means no and I'm not interested in a private meeting to 'make me change my mind'.

I'll buy you coffee?

Do I even want to try and work out what you're talking about?

I had a dream, Emma. And I lived in this... place called the Fright Zone. And there were people called THE HORDE there, and everyone was dressed in red and black and angry. And somehow they're the good guys? I don't buy it.

And all the buildings were technology and spikey and hard angles. Totally coded as evil, right?

And there was a woman called Shadow Weaver.

It certainly sounds more nefarious than not. But there is the chance of anti-heroism, where darker spirits are the true good.

Good and evil are exceptionally subjective, Adora.

GIve it some time, you might find out some more things to shape it all. Are you doing okay?

Maybe. It's definitely coded as evil. But I grew up there. So in the dream I don't think it's evil.

In fact, there are princesses outside the fright zone and apparently they're evil?

Yeah, I think so.

[Emma]
Well. Maybe. This woman in my dreams in a red cloak, she sounds like my mom. Like Weaver. And that makes me think this is all just some weird subconscious thing but a uniform appeared in my closet that I had in the dreams.

Sometimes people just suck at naming things. Puma, for instance. It's such a terrible name.

You'll definitely find out soon, if they've started they'll progress steadily, I'm sure.

[Adora]
My parents are still my parents in my dreams, so it's likely that Weaver and Shadow Weaver are the same person. Especially if they have the same role in your life.

It's confusing, and it's perfectly okay to be confused.

That's true. Naming stuff is hard, too. You know there are people out there who call their dogs 'dog'? I mean, it's maybe safer than giving your dog a name they'd hate.

Oh man. I don't wanna find out if the Princesses are evil.

[Emma]
Yeah, they do. My mom. She's a tiny bit more affectionate in the dreams but she's training me to be a Force Captain so I can go kill princesses. To save Eternia.

I am so confused, Emma. So confused.

You've had these dreams too, right?

There are always alternatives to 'dog'. Like 'Dave' or 'Bernie' or 'Sarah'. A human name is better than 'dog'.

Aren't they always? Or just stupid, really.

[Adora]
Affection towards a murderous goal. It's something, even if it's not exactly perfect.

I'm sorry, I wish I could say you'll understand eventually, but it seems sometimes they just don't make sense.

I'm having them, yes. So far things are mirroring life a little too closely for my liking.

What if the dog doesn't like the name, though?

I guess, I don't think I know any. Not really.

[Emma]
I suppose so, yeah. My sister's in these dreams too, except she's a cat person.

Oh that's not good, both that they might not make sense ever and also that they're reflecting your real life. At least mine are... weird.

Adora, the dog reacts to the tone, not the words. They'd be happy with any name, they're dogs.

At least not yet. Every Disney princess is just stupid in my opinion.

[Adora]
As in a person who is also a cat? Or a person with a lot of cats?

Weird at least you can tell the difference between dreams and memories. The only reason I can tell when things are different in my dreams is because I dyed my hair earlier in my life than in my dreams.

That's what you think, but I wouldn't be happy if I was a dog called Boris or Ermentrude.

[Emma]
No, like a literal cat person. She has claws on her hands and feet instead of nails and fur and she's orange with stripes like a tiger and she has fangs.

That's true. I'd be even more confused if my dreams were like my real life. Are yours like a normal set of dreams then? Nothing weird about them?

Well obviously, you'd be a girl dog. You'd have to be Beatrice or Esmaredal.

[Adora]
Well that's something very different. Are you a cat person?

A little, it's a navigation through my youth with some added mind reading. It seems I'm psychic in my dreams.

Is Ermentrude a boy's name?!

[Emma]
No, I'm a human-person. Like I am in real life. But Shadow Weaver is like a floating red cape with really long nails. And then Hordak has bones on the outside...

Psychic?! Like a mind-reader? That's... wow. That's a lot of headaches. I don't think I'd want to read minds. You, uh, you can't do that here, can you?

It's a purple donkey-horse things name.

[Adora]
Good lord, it's like a sci-fi nightmare become real. At least you won't confuse those people with real people.

Yes, the power onset was a significant portion just migraines. I'm hoping it waits a while before it hits here. If it hits here. I'm not sure if I want it or not.

A what now?

[Emma]
Definitely not. The only reason I recongised Cat in my dreams is because her name's Catra and she sounds the same. Same with Weaver.

It'd be helpful in the board room. But it would be really rough :(

The magic roundabout? Ermantrude was the donkey-horse thing, right?

[Adora]
And she's a cat. I mean, that's apt naming I suppose.

Oh, it'd be very helpful, but yes, I hear some filtered thoughts from those men, I can't imagine their unfiltered thoughts.

I've never seen it. I'm a little afraid to google it.

[Emma]
Right? Hordak's people are called the Horde.

You could always use their unfiltered thoughts against them. Do you have mind control in the dreams? Could you make them walk into a wall every time they think something gross about women?

Sorry, that's a lot of questions.

It's not terrible, but it is like most 80s childrens shows. Weird.

[Adora]
Now that just feels lazy. There could've been a little imagination into those names.

I'm not sure yet, on any of those possibilities. In the dreams, the powers are very new. I've just started using them on people rather than just to listen in. But it's looking possible that I can mentally manipulate people into doing what I want, yes.

So safe to google, then. Cool.

[Emma]
And one of the Force Captains who has scorpion hands and a scorpion tail is called Scorpia.

Migraines aside, do you think you'd want this powers to come into the real world?

Nothing is safe to google any more, but you should be okay if safe search is on.

[Adora]
My word, did the universe put any thought into this? It's like having a child and calling them 'Humana'.

It's a lot to deal with, although it can be applied spectacularly I'm sure, I'm not sure I won't or wouldn't abuse it. I suppose what I want won't really matter.

How do I put safe search on? I should just ask Nebula, right?

[Emma]
I'm guessing not. But your comment made me snort my soda, that's my favorite thing you've said.

If you ever get your powers, promise you won't use them on me?

Yes, otherwise you'll probably change the language settings and never know what you're looking at.

[Adora]
Well I'm glad I can at least be amusing.

I promise. Not even to make you less clumsy.

I probably wouldn't know even if you did, but thank you for promising :)
