I am not as dead as my brothers would like, so it would seem.

Jenny. She is not here. The world is like a flower deprived of sunlight because of it. London, is it? It would appear I'm not too far from home, either. Though I do find it troubling that I am suddenly not dead.

Though I'm still not entirely sure if I died before I arrived here, but I was going to, anyway.

I was not dead so much as I was nothingness. Ceasing to be is different, I think.

I always assumed Hel was far more creative than destructive. Even illness is a creation, though it inspires destruction of a mortal body. Motherhood suits her.

As for your brothers, I've seen no other Djinn around. You would be the first, I believe.

All things must end. Humans tend to fear that end, to the extent that they label anything that brings it "evil". Without disease, there would be famine. The herd would be too large. She and I endure far too much guilt because we cull their numbers.

So it should stay. They're not nearly as pretty as I am. Being the baby has its advantages.

Oh, I know how that goes. There were people I knew back home that wanted me dead too. Problem is.. them trying to end me isn't very easy. Glad none of them are here, though.
