So. Anyone wanna pass by the sign right now? There's a bright light glowing by it, a small round crystal that's shining like the moon on a full moon night.
Stare at it too long, though, and you'll become a Sailor Senshi for the next three days.

Sarah stands at the Sign, hands deep in her pockets as she mulls something over. After a while, she speaks up. "So...you know the phrase 'first world problems'? Where something's only an issue because you have the luxury to consider it one? Has anyone here ever had a 'Nexus problem', where it's the only damn kind of thing that could happen here?" |

There's an explosion as a portal opens. Wild elemental energy whips through, followed by the flying (albiet not willingly) forms of four people, three girls and a boy all about college aged, who all land in a heap not far from the sign. The portal closes behind them.
They're strange looking, dressed like normal college students, but those are some damn weird dye jobs they got. The boy, with grass green hair, is the first to wake up and lift his head, looking around. If anyone's got an eye for details, they'll notice his eyes match his hair.
"What the fuck?" is the first words out of his mouth. |

Sylphiel might look a little on the vacant side, but she's really deep in thought here. If she's going to ask a question it might as well be a good one right? Right!
It took her several moments but her expression went from day-dreamy to animated in the space of a second, "Ah! I think I have a good one...so, they say the way to a man's heart is through his stomach. Sir Gourry has a very healthy appetite to say the least, but so far he's only able to associate food with remembering my name which is better than nothing I suppose. So I've been wondering if there are exceptions to this rule? Do all men love food as much as Sir Gourry? Or are there better ways?...Oh...well that's more than one question so I hope it's okay." |

There is a young man in the Nexus, underneath the sign. He is dressed cleanly, and wears a feather stick tucked into his belt. He is carrying a toolbox, and a small electronic device. He pauses for a minute as he tries to think up a question. Did you really have to ask a question? Wait, wasn't that a question?
So finally after sighing, he says the most nonsense question he can think of.
"Did you know you can save big money at Menards?" |
