The moment I tried to click the link for your story last night, my connection failed. So I'm sure I'm at the end of a very long line of commentators saying, "Huzzah!"

Lovely. I love how you take a worn plot bunny, and make it better, stronger, faster. This was just perfect. And Severus in the position of the student in the relationship is just perfect.

A small thing: Can we set up something were I come with you on one of the raids?" "were" meaning "where"?

Great story! I particularly loved how you turned young!Snape into a less bitter version of his counterpart without reducing the complexities and contradictions of his character in the slightest. Thank you for such a great opening-fic!

What a way to start the Snarry games 2008... I was looking forward to your entry and I certainly wasn't disappointed! I like a young Snape this fierce, determined and intelligent and a more mature Harry; I would have expected a less lenient Dumbledore, though. Anyway: great work, as always ('The same coin' is my all time favorite Snarry, btw)! *applauds*

That was so lovely! I liked how understated but real their relationship was, and I loved how you dealt with the paradox issue. Harry's realisation that he's in too deep when he heard of the death of Trelawney was a wonderful detail, too. Thank you very much!

OH wow, wow wow, what a fantastic start to the games.

I love time travel fics and much as I usually like whoever to return to their original time I was really wanting Harry to stay from about half way in so I loved the ending. I especially love that the paradox sorted itself out.

I really liked how a lot of the outcomes of the timeline were somewhat similar to the canon ones - Severus spying, Peter being a traitor, Lily and James together and having a child close to the timeline. I also love your characterisation of James, you didn't try to make him a better person younger in his life. :D

I don't know if I sound like I'm full of squee about this, but I SO am.

Oh and older Harry being fucked on his desk by younger Severus *drool*

What a fascinating concept! Nicely done and well executed tension on what Harry should change and what he shouldn't change!

Most superb work!! I love all the details and how Harry wasn't able to return to his time and that a paradox didn't happen because of it. A very wonderful story.~Sophia

I can't help but feel slightly sad that Harry will never see Ron and Hermione again. That scene with Harry meeting Voldemort at the manor was just bizarre. This whole fic was bizarre, but in a very good way. :)

What a wonderful start to the games! Seems that I've also been craving a time travel fic, and this hit the spot perfectly. Love how Sev changed over the years with Harry's pushes in the right/different direction, and niceto see how Harry fits himself into the new world.

Wonderful! I love well done time travel fics, and this role reversal was very enjoyable! I can't imagine the amount of research you had to do for it. *iz lazy and glad she's an artist*

My very favourite line, (and I suck at copy pasting when I'm actually there, reading it, so forgive my mis-quoting here) but when DD said to Harry, about why he trusted him; That when he looked in his eyes, he saw that he knew him, and when he closed his eyes, he saw that he grieved him. Shit, I'm tearing up just typing this. Absolutely brilliant!

Thanks for a lovely fic! <3

Really great story! It was so sad when Harry realized that there was no longer a paradox...strange to think that he will be never born. His old life was forever gone...and I have to confess that I missed Ron and Hermione...

I loved the way Harry reacted to Severus the first time they meet and how their relationship grow. I really liked the way you portrayed Snape!

Oh, and "yeah" for writing a time travel story!!

Oh, how I love a good time-travel story, and I think I have to add to my list of kinks this reverse Snarry dynamic: younger Snape/older Harry. I love how it turns everything familiar on its ear.

Great entry, Meri---Go Dragons!

I've always had a terrific weak spot for both time travel and AU, so you can imagine the squeeage when this popped up first!

This is lovely, and the paradox was cleverly handled. A very sweet and enjoyable read.

Very cool take on the time-turner theme and the age difference! I liked a lot that Harry managed to change the outcome in the end. And the characterisations fit perfectly!

Yay~ Time travel! One of my favorites! And superbly done as well~ ^_____^ Lovely~ I'm a big top!Snape person and a lot of times i have issues with seeing a bottom!Snape transition into a top in time travel fics. You made it wonderfully plausible for me towards the end, so great job~ Ha ha~ ^_____^ What a way to start the fest! ♥

I loved this story. Mature!Harry and Ickle!Severus. Upsetting the time lines and the Universe pulling everything together to make them fit. The only problem with it is that it ended way too soon.

Very, very well done!

i have been craving a good snarry for the longest time (too much h/d can sometimes be a bad thing), and this is just what i needed. i love time travel and its implications, and i thought that you played with the past very well. also, the way you wrote young snape was just perfect.

bravo!

I don't think I can say anything that hasn't been said before, but whatever :D

You're one of the few authors who, in terms of the time-travel paradox, can make me forget my non-understanding of this concept. It's so easy to get caught up within the paradox in this genre - and every time I read time-travel written by you, it sidesteps the paradox gracefully. Granted, the fact that the Salem Institute did have Harry Potter as a student doesn't work for me (because how can the past be changed? It's the future that lies before us to be formed!), but that's my thinky-thoughts about this subject taking over. Everything else I don't object to at all, which is much more than anyone else would get from me.

I very much enjoyed your vision of a grown-up Harry and how the knowledge he has changes the world he's thrown into. I love how he influences Severus in a different direction; and really, it is inevitable that Severus would fall for Harry, isn't it? The boy has known too little kindness as is in his life, so it's logical he'd fall in love with the first person who does show him that. We've seen it happen in canon with Lily, after all.

Er, I forgot the other points I wanted to make. *major headdesk* I shall blame the sickness. Let me just assure you again that this fic considerably brightened my day, and I'm sure I'll gladly return to it to satisfy my time-travel needs in the future :)

I do adore a well-written time-travel fic, and this did not disappoint. Well executed and characterised. You make Harry as an adult and Snape as a young adult seem so natural. Excellent job, Meri :-)

I loved this! I have a thing for time travel fics, and teacher/student fics, and hot boy sex . . . and damned if you didn't deliver it all wrapped up in a wonderfully written story!

I adored your Severus, and absolutely loved how you worked all the other characters around because of one or two small changes in the time line. It really is amazing how different he became (with out loosing his innate Snape-ness) just because he had someone who took an interest in him.

And the wooing :-) Who could not love the wooing! Even as a Ravenclaw, his Slytherin still came out.
