Wow. I'm finally getting a chance to read the fics, and I really love this one. Well done. Time travel is always hard to pull off. You did it well.

I had to stay away from the Games fics being posted until my own contribution was finished. What a way to break my fast. You did great with the paradox aspects; I particularly liked the bit about Trelawney's death, it's the kind of little thing that makes the whole idea work so well. And I loved the way you made Snape very much himself and yet changed. Way to go, teammate!

I'm posting this anonymously because I've noticed authors rarely appreciate concrit, and I'm sure I'll get jumped all over for it.

I really like your writing. This premise was intriguing, and I adore young Snape pursuing Harry so aggressively (and being better socialized in your AU).

The bad: I don't know if you're even aware of this, but you use the words "clearly" or "clear" quite a lot, as in "Clearly Snape loved Harry" or "It was clear what had to be done." I have no problem with these words, but you use them so often that by halfway through the story I'm completely distracted and only reading to see how long before the next occurrence (usually not long at all).

It's only a small criticism, but as it's in all your stories clearly no one has brought it to your attention before.

Other than that, outstanding story. I enjoyed it very much!

I was a little bit ambiguous about this at the beginning with the time travelling stuff (not usually my favourite), but then it dumped us right in this delightful same-but-differnet world and the stroy took off at warp speed and sucked me in to the extent that I realised at 4pm that I should've gone to bed three hours earlier :). Wonderful stuff

I wish I could leave a better review citing everything I adored (from Ravenclaw!Snape being a prickly creature almost as much as the original, to his single-minded determination in what he wants, to his bit about Kingsley being hot and Harry's blush, to Death Eater thing *not* being sidelined as something that only happens to Slytherins, to Edward Potter whom I loved to bits, to that absolute heart-stopping moment when Harry walks into Malfoy Manor with Voldemort and Lucius inside to name just the most memorable). And James being such a little creep (ohyes!). And that subtly shifted atmosphere during the 'worst memory' scene with Snape not being a total outcast, and Harry's frantic moaning about the demands of teaching (*g*), and his mad defence of young Snape against anyone and everything (with Dumbledore figuring out easily what it would do to Snape and Harry totally oblivious); adored Harry's fair-minded attitude to his students to no end, it's so Harry.

The only thing I liked a bit less was that the battle against Voldemort was very sidelined and over quickly without much effort. But I adored Snape's determination to have his sex beforehand, just in case. Convincing, and a wonderful scene in its own right.

A lovely fic, and as I said, a really gripping read ;).

Amazing work; I'm so sorry about what Harry has lost, but what he's gained is amazing.

Brilliant, brilliant fic. Severus was so much the same and yet so different. I really enjoyed Harry's grandparents in this, and how the paradox took care of everything.

When Severus kissed Harry in Malfoy's library, I had what I can best describe as emotionally "orgasmic" experience, and the following explanation as to why he did it just then, took my breath away. Excellent, excellent story. I love so much your Severus, it aches. *happy sigh*

This is an absolutely wonderful opening fic for the Games...a mature, but still occasionally clueless, Harry, a delightfully difficult adolescent Severus, a sexy Kingsley, and, don't forget our favorite meddlesome dingbat...well done.

I love the time travel premise, it's just such an interesting scenario and hard to get right, because there's so many things to go wrong with. You've avoided all the timetravel!cliches masterfully though, and this story is believable, well-written and unique, and the plot really takes the reader into its grip and forces them to read through it all at once.

Most of all, though, I love the characters. Young Severus is very much like how I see him to be and you've potrayed so well how one kind person can shape his future so differently, without actually changing him as a person. What's really bugged me about some tt-fics is that the authors change the whole personalities of the young versions of the characters and I just don't see that realistic, if their backgrounds are still the same. (This depends heavily on the story of course, but still.)

And I like how Harry is. He keeps on searching for a way back for so long, and even when the reader knows he's not going to find a way back, Harry still keeps looking. The relationship with H and S (grrr, I have to type with one hand, [since I broke the other one] so I need to use some shortcuts, sorry) ...Where was I?

Right, the relationship between the two is intriguing. I love how it developes, and how it's almost more logical and believable in this universe than it is in a normal one. Only part that I had a slight problem with was visioning Severus as a Young Adult and Harry as the Real Adult when they were snogging in the final stages. I don't know why, because it wasn't a problem in the story telling, at least none that I could find. Maybe I've just read too much snarry smut that it's hard to see them in "reversed roles" when it comes to sex. ;)

A very interesting and though-provoking piece, thank you for writing it. :D

I lovelovelove this story! My sadness for Harry, not getting back to Ron and Hermione and Ginny, was balanced out by overwhelming happiness that Severus's life turned out so much better. I'll be saving this one to read again and again.

OMG. Brilliant! Wow, so much love. This is truly a treasure. I adore time travel, and this is executed wonderfully!
All of Harry's fears about messing up the timeline, laid to rest, and Severus, getting to be in Ravenclaw and have nice robes! Hurrah! And Paris, and love, and teaching, and Sarah Rose... lovely.
& having Peter caught but not Lucius - interesting. Perhaps Narcissa had more sway here?
I thought Severus might call Harry on being James and Lily's son at the end there, and was a bit surprised he didn't, but maybe the exact how-far-in-the-future could've been questionable.
Fantastic story. This is going in my *memories*. Brava!

Meri, Meri, Meri....

This is just another beautifully written, captivating story that I have personally archived. You always manage to produce such good work.

I really enjoyed Severus here, and the buildup to their relationship was fantastic. I personally enjoyed your interpretation of "learning to dance."

Brava!! :]

I loved this story. I love dimension hopping/time travel stories. I really enjoyed so much of this story. I love young severus and Harry's portrayl is very good. He is the kind of man we all hope he grows up to be.

Beautiful job!

I really like this story. Time-travel can be a bit confusing, but you managed to explain everything very smoothly. I liked this Snape, younger but still (or already) so very him. :)

OMG yay. I love this story. My comment is going to suck because I am overwhelmed with emotions from it, but *flails* I love the time-travel aspect. I love that Harry is the teacher, that he is Severus' champion, that Lily and Severus are allowed to remain good friends, that Harry gives up his quest gracefully, that everything happens so wonderfully. I really, though, really really ADORE that Alice got the best of Bellatrix in your timeline and that Neville will grow up with all the love and support of his parents. *is a bit weepy* I know, this story is about Severus and Harry, but I have such a soft spot for Neville. Also, yummy Kingsley/Harry. I know... SNARRY! But still, Kingsley is SO HOT. Umm, yeah, I really really loved this story.

I had been hankering after time-travel that I went back and re-read "No way back" (more than I could count). And then I spotted this one! Wow! Another great time-travel/ paradox to add to my collection. Thank you!

Love the way the relationship develope between Harry and Severus. Both of them are stubborn as a mule and I'm glad that things worked out great in the end! Yay! Love it! Thanks!

p.s. I can't vote as I know for sure that I won't have time to read all those delightful stories here in snarry_games. Am picking stories with summaries that would draw me in, like a fish to a worm dangling on a hook

Thank you so much for choosing time-travel for a theme! You've made New Year and Birthday come together early for me in one package. =) *still dancing of joy* A brand new good Snarry time travel, la la la. =)
Couldn't turn away until finished, of course. Easy to read, funny at times, reasonable throughout... Here sitting and thinking a good or a bad thing to say, but, honestly speaking, it's all very consistently enjoyable.
Though, I'd remark that a wizard of such a [supposed] grandeour like Voldemort came down in the end ridiculously easily.
Thanks!
