Last weekend, a Japanese Snape fan organized a birthday party for the universally beloved professor. Fifteen Snape-lovers attended, decorating the room in Slytherin green, exchanging gifts that everybody picked out for Severus, and eating a cake shaped after his favorite textbook. There were quizzes and games, all relating to Severus and the world of Harry Potter.

You can check out some photos (click on an image to enlarge) from the event, over here:

...Hope this isn't off-topic! Just wanted to share the feeling that there are fans celebrating Severus Snape having been born in all corners of the world ^_^
  • Wow, that's really cool--it's nice to know that Snape-sensei is beloved around the world! ^_^
    • Thanks Geri-san! The blogger, Futahiro-san, has told me she's happy to notice people accessing her blog from overseas, and grateful for your comment.
  • I thought I had replied to this... there's Snape in it, how could it be off topic. Thanks for that, that was great fun to see. :D
