A/N: This story was inspired by my own obsession with a piece of artwork that appeared in this year's IJ hp_springsmut. After weeks of thinking about it, I contacted fanlay and received her blessing to write a story around it. Please, please take a look at her beautiful and haunting artwork Rain. My slightly insincere apologies to her for embellishing considerably upon her original vision of "an illicit, hurried liaison in heavy rain."

I really wanted to share this with everyone since they finally did the release at hpslashnotsmut at LJ. ^_^

I got this awesome Art/Ficlet combo from chaeldub. It's not smutty (as the exchange comm name would imply) in the way that there's no on screen porn, but there's more than enough implied heat in the art and the ficlet to make everyone all a flutter!

In my complaint over lack of tag for snape/krum in this community, psyfic gave me permission to link to her Snape/Krum crackish fic. <3 It's also NC-17 and is incredibly hot even though it does contain [gender-bending, cunnilingus], but don't let that stop you at all. Snape's voice is written perfectly and Krum's is delicious in this fic.
