Challenge #310: "The Unwritten Pairing" This week's challenge might be a bit of a stretch in that you're being asked to write a drabble focusing on Snape paired romantically and/or sexually (but not necessarily graphically) with a character with whom you've never paired him before. (Note: for the fight-to-the-death OTP folks in the community, feel free to tell your drabble from the perspective of the "delusional" imagination of the other party. *g*)

To play, go to Wikipedia's Main Page, then click on the "Random Article" link in the navigation bar on the upper left of the page, and use whatever you get as your prompt (to make it more amusing for all, please provide a link to the page you're using). If you honestly can't think of anything related to your first prompt, try again, but no more than three tries please: this is a challenge, after all.

(Note: this time around, when I tried I ended up with an Evangelical Christian preacher, which...seemed quite unrelated...until I realized the man's name was "Bobby Brewer." *g*)

Challenge #308: "The 'Other Family' " It's not much of a stretch to believe that a great deal of adult!Snape was shaped, at least in part, by the family in which he was raised. Bearing that in mind, this week's challenge is to imagine what might have happened if, at some point - probably before Severus started at Hogwarts, but possibly later - Tobias and Eileen Snape were no longer in the picture (for whatever reason) and Severus was taken in to be raised by another family. Would his life (and death) have been the same, or would a different environment have made a difference in his eventual fate? Write what you will, as long as your drabble focuses on Snape and the 'Other Family.'

Or you could, you know, just think in terms of sex.

Do any myths have a part to play in the study of Potions or the Dark Arts? Can a given myth (e.g., the story of Hades and Persephone) be re-imagined featuring Snape? Give your creativity free rein as long as your drabble features Snape and Mythology.

(Note: I'm guessing that the majority of you will be most familiar with Greek and Roman mythology, but if you'd prefer to branch out into other mythic systems, feel free!)

Challenge #291: "The Solar System: Pluto* (and the rest)" This week's challenge is the seventh (and last) in a series related to the planets of the solar system. You can use "Pluto" to refer to the planet itself, the Roman god of the Underworld, the Disney Dog, Plutonium (...or any of the other options Wikipedia offers for Pluto), as long as your drabble focuses in some way on Severus Snape.

Note: Since this is the last challenge in this series, you needn't be limited to Pluto-related prompts only, but you should feel free to include anything you might find in our Solar System (the asteroid belt, planetary moons, the Tardis) which hasn't been covered in the challenges from previous weeks.

*Despite its recent demotion, I will always consider Pluto to be a planet *g*
