Reloaded Ralf Paschke post + New Icons
My bad... I don't know how many of you couldn't get the Ralf Paschke Fetish Friday post to load. I forgot to change the PNGs to JPGs, so the picture sizes were humongous and at least one person that I know of couldn't get them to show up. I fixed them, so you shouldn't have any problems today.

And since I was in there anyway, and I was feeling bad about making the mistake, I added a couple of new pictures to the batch. So if you couldn't get the pics to load yesterday, or if you're just wondering what's new, check it out here: Fetish Fridays Ralf Paschke style. The new pics are #6 - For Sale 2 and #13 - Sleepsack.

Also, since I was messing around with the pics anyway...I decided to make a few icons. Oh boy, did I make icons. Twenty-four to be exact. I think I got a little carried away, don't you? Oh well, maybe someone will like them, and I won't feel so silly for making so many...

By the way - if anyone ever wants me to customize an icon for you, or thinks of a caption you think would be appropriate for one of them, please feel free to suggest it. I think my captions are kinda lame sometimes, so I'd be glad to try something else. I like the "drop trou" one though...so don't tell me it's silly, even if it is, okay? Thanks.

As part of this month's Travel theme, I decided we'd take some fresh air, and see the natural beauty around us. So we're gonna go "Natural," and see what happens. We've got a nice mix this week - men and women, lesbians, hets and gay men...all of them baring their all in a natural setting. There's an NC17 post coming up next...for those who like that kind of thing. *g*

Well the eclipse of the moon has passed by now, but I think any kind of natural phenomenon like that kind of lends itself to the chance to get romantic. Okay, so maybe not all natural phenomenon. I don't see anything romantic about earthquakes or hurricanes. Although if you believe Hollywood, any large disaster leads to romantic thoughts in at least one couple - usually the ones who're busiest trying to contain the disaster, which seems kind of counter productive to me...

Anyway - to get back to total eclipses of the moon, like we had tonight: I'm just going to pretend it's a good way to introduce my Romantic Smutday Post, okay? But no singing melodramatic '80's songs, although quoting Paul Verlaine or Arthur Rimbaud might be considered somewhat appropriate under the circumstances. (If you don't know what I'm talking about take a look at this: Total Eclipse.)

But at least one artist must think eclipses are romantic, since Steve Walker painted this rather romantic setting for one of his pieces. And that brings us to Steve Walker, who is featured in our our Rather Romantic and Very Tame first post for tonight's Smutday. Walker doesn't do much in the way of Smut, but I thought he was appropriate for a Romance post...I think you'll like his work. Oh, and I added a few icons at the end. Enjoy!

The next post will be Smuttier - and for once, the NC17 rated post will be mostly het. With the odd painting of gay men. Oh - and a hermaphrodite, just to keep things interesting. I'll be back soon with that one.

Okay, finally I got the icons together...whew!  And I also put together a gallery of all the blanks from my Valentine's Day cards, since there were enough requests for particular blanks to make me realize people might want to just add their own captions.

I didn't try to post them all here - there are a ton of both, and I'm actually kind of not on top of my game today...various and sundry illnesses and syndromes reminding me why I'm on Disability these days.  Some days it's not worth getting out of bed, ya know? 

Anyway, what I did was arrange them in my Live Journal Scrapbook.  The blanks don't show at full size when you just click on them the first time, so be sure you click on the Download: Full Size link to the right to get to the picture you're looking for.  They should all be the same size as the original Valentine's Day cards.  If not, let me know, and I'll fix it.

Well, okay, it's officially the 10th by now. But I couldn't help it. Have you ever had one of those "I don't like anything I've got - I must have something new" days? That was today. Looking through my collection, and I couldn't find a thing I wanted to share. So I went in search of something new. It took forever, but I found it.

Okay, so actually, I'd seen a few of his pics before. For that matter, I've already posted a few in the past. But I had no idea how much I'd like the rest of them. And I do. His name is Tom Jones, and I just really like his style. So both posts tonight are going to be his work. I made some icons, too. I have an "about an hour before Smutday" treat for you...it's the rubber and laytex pics I said I'd try to get in over the weekend. Yeah, they're late, but hey...that's better than never, right? And there are icons too. Cool, huh? There will be another set for the NC17 crowd later - no icons, though - sorry dudes.

For those who're wondering...the Axel pics were cards that came front and back, so I put up both sides. Pipe is a character Axel created for Instigator Magazine, where he seems rather popular. The Tom of Finland crew consider Axel part of the next generation of fetish artists, and as strong supporters of the future of erotic art, the Foundation has no problem with his using an easily recognizable Tom of Finland character in his art work. Axel himself calls "Pipe vs Tom" a tribute, so there's no disrespect intended, even if Pipe is flipping off Tom's cap and has him all tied up. To be honest, Tom doesn't seem to be too upset about it, either.

So yeah - have fun, guys...
