I can't see Cass feeling Bruce's death changes the meaning of the symbol she fights for.

A friend who I linked this to put it best... this is essentially the same thing as MLK's speech on that one episode of the boondocks.
Nothing's really changed by bruce's death. That should have meant everything to the cause, it should have changed, people should have gotten angry, etc.
The cause loses even more shape when you realize how it lost shape.
No one outside of the family realized Batman's dead.
No one realizes Bruce Wayne is dead.
The leader falls and it does nothing for the cause, the symbol is left without meaning at a time when it should have the most. It should have caused more change then it did.
