Why is Huntress back in her Jim Lee outfit?

One of the differences between the solicited version of Battle for the Cowl: The Network and the final version. Art by José Ladrönn.

From Tony Daniel's blog: "Um let's see - the Huntress I went to Jim's design for 2 reasons, the first is I feel it is sexier and she pops more. The other costume is too much black, which is fine, but in the book there's so much black already. And I like showing some skin when I can. I'm having a blast with all the female characters that I'm now getting a chance to handle. Women are easier to draw than men (for me) so I just have a great time whenever they're featured."

Soooo...to recap, if we don't like it, we shouldn't read it, and if we don't read, we shouldn't complain?

OKAY!

Well, it's not like that attitude is uncommon among fanboys....

It is weird logic. If you buy an issue, don't like it, and then say so, the creators can say "We didn't force you to buy it!" They can even say, "Don't worry, the next few issues will be better." If someone buys the first issue of SECRET INVASION and doesn't like it, but is told to be patient, eventually buys the whole series and still doesn't like it, the creators can say "Well, why did you keep buying it if you didn't like it?"

Flames. Flames on the side of my face.

Thanks for clearing that up, Quesada! I'm sure Marvel aren't sexist at all, that's why you're not relying on objectifying and sexualising women to sell your comics.

oh wait
