"Surprise me?"

(Note: irish_spectre asked me to post this for her since she doesn't have an IJ account)

To continue on the celebration of Joker/Harley, here is a classic for you guys: Batman and Robin Adventures #18. The premise? Joker is down in the dumps because of some billboards featuring the Dynamic Duo and Harley means to cheer up her Puddin'.

The only one allowed to hit Harley is Joker. Also, note that he's so depressed that he's not even going to enjoy killing the guy.

What upsets Harley more than anything is not getting slapped around, but rather getting told that she's not funny! What to do to get her?

Check out the excitement on her face. (Also, the jazz age terms of "Daddy" and "Baby" are adorable.)

And the comic wraps up nicely with Joker laughing again and Harley comforted by the fact that she is responsible for it (despite Joker not knowing she did indeed succeed).
