....probably, there were several things being tested. How Orion dealt with the situation based on the options they were given, and how and what we suggested to them. Orion was only under pressure to survive. Since the game conditions required only one survivor at least, it would be possible to win by working alone and taking advantage of the others, or by sacrificing one or more to ensure another's survival, as well as the all or nothing teamwork they did choose. Most likely, this was what you were observing.

For the rest of us, it's a game involving people not from our own teams. The possibilities are the same, but the stakes are different. Maybe because of that, we didn't stop to work together as much, instead everyone said what they thought should be done without consulting anyone. It worked in the end, but probably more by coincidence, since Orion had so many options to choose from, though not without some damage. But those reactions and how well people dealt with the situation seems to be the point of this game.

.......it's also likely that even if Orion hadn't volunteered, someone else would have been chosen for this by other means.

	Orion was probably chosen because of what they did in the last game. But if they hadn't "volunteered", it may have been anyone. I don't think Surgeon chose them out of spite. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	is not exactly happy about the whole thing either. in fact, you might notice him clenching his right hand in particular into a fist as he talks I don't like any of it either, but I won't waste my time trying to alter what's unchangeable.
