[You are in a hallway which, for those who may recognize such things, looks a bit like a hospital hallway -- but not a clean one. Broken glass litters the floor, and the white walls are marred with patches of spreading black mold. Both ends of the hallway vanish into a thick-looking fog.

There is a door in one wall with a fogged window. The door is slightly ajar. The sound of crying is coming from within.]

[The room inside is a, naturally enough, hospital room, in similar state of disrepair and decay. Night is standing just inside the door, looking confused to be here.

There is a hospital bed in the middle of the room and a person in Corvus colours just visible on the other side of the bed, sitting on the floor and curled up. The sound of crying appears to be coming from this half-hidden person.]
