[Inside the tent is an overturned church. The pews are disorganized and flipped around, the floor is littered with dirty-colored and broken circus paraphernalia, giant balancing balls, unicycles and multicolored flags. Posters promising the greatest show on earth are covering the stone walls and some of the windows, though brilliantly colored light is still streaming in through the stained glass. It's like a circus had a tantrum inside the house of God.

There's Allen as you know him with his back to you, facing another boy standing on top of the altar.

By all appearances - is unmistakably also Allen. But he has a confident tilt to his jaw, his eyes are unsettlingly yellow, and his face has a twisted smirk. He's clothed in street rags, fingerless gloves and a heavy scarf wrapped around his neck, striped socks pulled up over his calves. His face is smeared with old, messy white makeup, there's khoal around his eyes and his lips are red, almost like a clown but too messy. The makeup covers his skin best over his scar.]
