Michael looked over at him from the couch. “Welcome to adulthood, Boy Wonder.”

“It's not that...Brian kept me up all night. He wanted to achieve hexa-sex before dawn.”

Michael frowned. “What's hexa-sex?”

“'Hex' as in six...you know, like a hexagon? He wanted to have six orgasms before the sun came up.”

“This has been pretty hard on him,” said Ted.

“It's so sad to see him like this,” sniffed Emmett.

“We should be there for him,” agreed Michael.

Cautiously, they crept toward the back of the diner, where Brian was wallowing in his misery.

“Brian?” asked Justin. “Can you hear me?”

Brian nodded.

“Are you okay?”

Brian shook his head no.

“Shit,” Ted muttered. “They really messed him up, didn't they?”

“Brian,” said Michael. “It'll be okay.”

Debbie, who was passing by, rolled her eyes. “Christ, all this over closing a fucking Starbucks?”

“I'm going to kill him,” vowed Melanie.

Lindsay glanced at her. “The important thing is that Gus had fun with his father. It's good they're spending more time together.” Melanie snorted.

“Mommy! Mama! Let's go to the park! You want to go? Let's go now! Come on! Hurry!” Gus jumped up and down at the foot of their bed, talking a mile a minute.

“Gus, it's one in the morning. Aren't you tired yet?” Lindsay asked hopefully.

“Nope!”

Melanie groaned. “See? What kind of idiot gives a four year old three cups of coffee? I'm going to fucking murder Brian.”
