Spent most of the day dealing with bullshit. Anyone know where I can go to unwind? Not feeling my usual haunts.

I've been one to rarely utilize social media, but I can see some benefits. Such as being able to carry on a conversation at my leisure and not having to stop my work to talk to someone if I do not wish to. This is one example of an excellent technological advancement.

Said to me less than five minutes into 3rd period:

Student: Mr. Branwen, I need to move my seat.

Me: Why?

Student (pointing to the student sitting next to her): I’ve sat through 3 seasons of this girl’s drama and I can't do season 4.

I have been told that since I’m in Las Vegas I need to “experience” it more. I’m not particularly interested in being a tourist, but I am looking for suggestions for places or sites that someone new the to the city should see.

Someone woke up one day and chose violence.

I can't wait to see the look on my girlfriend's face tonight.

I tried to go on a date a few nights ago.

Started well, but turned into a complete disaster.

Is anyone else finding that the memories of our other lives are changing them personality-wise? And not for the better?

Learned a valuable life lesson over New Years: Drunk texting your buddies from high school about events they have no memory of and insisting they happened is a great way of making said friends think you've completely lost your mind. Probably not going to hear from them again for a while...if ever.

I was getting used to seeing ghosts around town. I was even kind of getting used to them following me around because they never followed me home. I saw one today while I was on a shoot, and tried to ignore it. I'll tell you, it's hard to ignore a ghost when they stick their hands inside you and suck out all your energy.

Also, I think my apartment is haunted.

Well, I didn't expect to find a snow globe on my desk this morning. Whoever created it had quite the eye for detail and quality.

I think I'm screwed

It's the time of year where I think about trying to find my mom.

And remember why that's probably a bad idea.

What if we threw a New Years party? Just for those of us with tattoos?

I won't lie, when it started snowing yesterday, I was bracing for a repeat of what happened in August, but this is actually kind of nice. That combined with the random snow globe that I guess I got somehow/somewhere makes me a little nostalgic. Its kind of weird, I'm not usually a sentimental sap, but I kind of can't help it.

It's beautiful out there this morning. Big fluffs of snow falling gently from the sky. It's serene in a way I haven't felt in a long time.

I feel moved.

I don't know why I keep getting these "pets" from my other life. But now not only do I have a demon dog thing and a mini Yeti, now I have a small dragon as well. It looks like a Chinese dragon only it's pretty tiny, so unfortunately I can't ride it. It also has a little ball it likes to play with. This guy is definitely cute, I have to say. Though it is perhaps a little unnerving that it can fly despite not having wings.

So guess I can say I actually have my own dragon now.
