Who: Eve, Jacen Solo, Sam Winchester
What: Eve wants a chat with her boys
Where: W&H Holding Cell
When: October 15th Evening
Rating: High. Sorry boys
Status: In Progress
Note: I do want seprate logs with both boys but this seemed a good way to start it, she's immortal she doesnt need to sleep and she will have them for a few days, all of which all three of us have off. Lets abuse this yes!]

It had been fairly simple stuff to start with. Keeping Solo from getting acsess to those pretty little Jedi tricks with shocks at odd intervals, he couldn't focus, he couldn't hurt those around him. Importantly he couldn't contact his wife. Sam Winchester on the other hand was weak like a little kitten without the blood. It was almost entertaining. He wasn't using those powers, even if he could. That would change once the partners found a demon in his world like she's requested. Just one to start out. Just one to bleed.

She stepped into the room, heels clicking against the floor, noting that if they hadn't been securely tied, both of them would try to kill her. She was immortal and all but she was sure it would hurt. Probably a lot. So this way was better. Easier, the deal had been sound. Get the Slayers out of the way for however long she needed to get the two boys on side with the firm. She thought Sam might be easier to break, all it would take was a little bit of temptation, bleed some idiot demon and he'd be theirs.

"Boys" she said as calmly as she could manage among how admittidly excited she was to have them both here. Sam had been a target of hers since the meeting with the Powers, and Jacen Solo.

Well that was just power that one side or the other had to control.

He would be so useful.

"Are we treating you okay, enough water, the usual. Sam, you thirsty...or is water just not cutting it anymore with you?"

There was an Earth saying, if looks could kill. And if Jacen's glower was capable of being fatal, Eve would have been nothing but dust in the glare of it.

Unfortunately, he could not, and the odd shocks, while doing little in terms of pain, were enough to keep him from focusing with the Force and reaching into that pretty immortal head of hers and leaving her mind nothing but soup.

"Actually, I have a slight itch on my back that I can't quite reach, would you be an absolute sweetheart and get it for me?" He retorted at her, a sneer worthy of Caedus on his face. He still wasn't entirely sure what had happened, beyond the fact that Xander had betrayed him. A fact that stung more than a little.

"What do you want, Eve?" He spat the name out with a deep hatred, concerned more for Sam than himself.

Muscles straining against the material binding him, Sam growled out in frustration when he realized that there was absolutely no way he was going to be able to physically tear his way free. He had to admit that this wasn't the first time that he had been knocked unconscious, but at the moment it was quickly turning into the most infuriating of them all. Waking up in the middle of an abandoned town? Sure, no problem. At least he could use his legs then. And while Azazel had been the culprit behind that fun trip to Disneyland, at least he had played it the smart way by keeping out of Sam's hair. Here, wherever this was, Sam was staring right into the face of the bitch that had snatched him up off the streets. Eve.

She certainly had not been a fun thing to wake up to.

Sam was working up a remark, but was surprised to find someone else had beat him to it. His attention switched from Eve to the second figure: Jacen. Brow furrowed, Sam shot him a brief look of frustration and confusion before he found himself glaring back off at Eve. What did she want from them, of all people? Were they bait? Was she trying to lure in AI? The Slayers? Faith? Buffy?

He struggled against his binds again. When they didn't give, he snapped out with a, "what the hell is going on?"

Eve took a seat far enough out of the way that neither would be a threat to her, amused at Jacen and the shocks that she knew had to be more maddening than anything else. Of course they were, but they were needed. He was sneering and Sam was struggling, worried and confused.

Perfect.

"You didn't answer me Sam? Thirsty?" she asked again, watching them both intriuged.

"You're both here because I wanted you to be. Because that way we get to have friendly little chats, just us. You're both just so...intresting to me, One of you used to destroy planets, one has the power to rule armies of hell and both of you turned away with it, for the love of...well I don't know if I'd call either of them 'good women' stories the partners told me about your pretty little Queen would say different. And Faith...well, she's a whole other story. But I want to see how you work on your own, because I think you'll do very well. If you just play nice with me"

She leaned in, setting another shock on Jacen and leaving Sam alone for the moment.

"Can you boys play nice?"

There was a brief tightening around Jacen's eyes, the only outward sign of any discomfort. It would have been easier if the shocks were more painful, pain he could use. Thanks to the Vong, pain he could channel into strength. In the back of his mind he could almost hear Vergere. "You are already dead little Solo"

Not yet I'm not.

Jacen's glare turned into a laugh, mocking and cruel.

"Interesting? Oh Eve, how quickly you forget," his smirk widened. "Caedus nearly broke you all when he was here, ripped through your clients like they were nothing. Even you had to admit that you took on more than you could handle when you brought him to this city." He lifted his head slightly, to watch Eve's every movement.

"And my Queen, oh the things my Queen can do. You forget Liaison, that beneath that calm Jedi exterior there is the daughter of Hapes and Dathomiri. Not someone you want to see angry."

He looked almost amused as he rested his head back down, his body language just casual. "So play all you want, we'll be the ones laughing in the end."

No matter how obvious it was that he was stuck, Sam still kept on trying to fight his way free. Eve was already screwing around with Jacen, he really didn't want to stay put long enough to see what she had in store for him. Get free, knock the bitch out, get Jacen, run, run, run. Impossible at this moment, but if Sam could find a way, that was the game plan.

"Leave him alone," Sam growled out through clenched teeth. Jacen was confident, but Sam was not. This wasn't a demon off the street that they were dealing with. In fact, this wasn't even their every day baddie in general. Eve was highly affiliated with Wolfram & Hart the last he checked and those guys were the head honchos around here. They weren't dancing around the fire pit anymore, they were practically in it's belly waiting to be consumed by it's flames.

"I'm not," he finally replied, falling still again. Actually, he kind of was. Being knocked out and beaten down took a lot of out of him. He could have used a glass of water, but Sam knew that under that question lay all kinds of trouble. "You're wasting your time," Sam declared, drawing in a heavy breath, "we're not of any use to you. The others are gonna figure out that you've taken us and they'll find you. They'll find us."

He only half believed that statement. There was still that part of him inside carrying that heavy doubt that wondered if anyone at home would even bother trying after they had discovered who he was and what he had done. Perhaps they had just been putting up with him. Maybe they'd be glad - no. Sam let his head fall back, resting against the wall. He'd get out of here. He had to.

Eve crossed one leg over another and leaned in as he laughed at her, she knew Caedus was a danger, of course she did, she was hardly stupid. But she wasn't going there. Not yet.

"Yes he did, but you're not him. And I think I know the way to what keeps you Jacen. Two pretty little redheads, am I right? I'm not scared of your little Queen, not worried that they'll find you right now. For now, you're mine to play with and I intend to. Lets play with that pretty little dark side will we."

She moved slightly closer to Sam. Just slightly, less worried about him, his powers were all tied up in that blood.

"You, not of any use to me?. Oh come on sweetie, take some credit. Thats not true. ...Now, you're not what you were at all are you. But still thirsty. I bet that never goes away. And why would it. Its all inside you, locked away. But I mean, what does it take, someone with enough power to lift the thing you want most right on into LA. So tell me again Boy King. You thirsty?"

Again Jacen laughed, a harsh sound in the quiet room. "Oh Force help me, you're as naive as my beloved uncle," he shook his head. "Such a clear line between myself and Caedus? Really? And, my dear, you have just made the worst mistake in your undoubtedly long life," he glared at her, his eyes not quite the distinctive Sith yellow and red, but still filled with a dark anger. "You mentioned them to me and believe me, you did not want to do that."

If she threatened them she was a bigger fool than he took her for. If she didn't realize the lengths he'd gone to in the past to protect them both.

Another shock went through him, making him grit his teeth. If only they were just a little stronger, crossing that line into real pain, something he could truly use. He listened with half an ear to the way she tried to taunt Sam, glancing over when the shock wore off.

"Leave the boy alone, he doesn't want what you're offering."

Sam immediately pushed himself back as far as he could. He didn't like her being close. Her smug face, those taunting words. She could go back to her little corner across the room. He really, really wanted her to. As much as he physical appeared to be attempting to evade her, he still couldn't ignore what she was preaching. The blood. She was talking about the blood. Red, spilling, powerful -

"No." Nostrils flaring, Sam glared. "I said I wasn't. Now get out of my face."

Boy King. Oh, how he hated that name.

She was right, of course. Sam could taste it. Always. On everything he ate, the need to swallow down that thick, red substance was always there. It was easy to ignore some days, but others...Sam closed his eyes and drew in a breath. "Let us go. Spare yourself the trouble of losing your people when ours come looking for us."

Jacen could be heard just across the room. The only thing in the room that Sam could willingly look at without feeling disgusted. And that was at a bare minimum as it were. Jacen was in this too. They had plans for him. She was gonna screw with them both and right now there was nothing that either of them could do about it.

Oh no Eve wasn't stupid, she kept Jacen Solo just short of real tangible pain. She kept it an an annoyance, A disruption, enough to stop his powers without feeding his weird need for pain to feed him, she wasn't about to give him that at all. But she'd made him angry and that was a start. He was all locked up tight after all. They both were.

"Oh I didn't say anything about your girls? Paranoid Jacen?" she asked entertained more than anything "I mean threatening them, I do know what that does to know. How much you probably want to kill me right now, give in to all that anger wrapped up inside you. Not that you will, not yet. That comes later."

Sam meanwhile was officially entertaining her more than she'd expected, all furious but still with that desperation in his eyes. He wanted it she could tell he wanted it.

"Ruby's not the only demon from your world here you know. Not anymore. And without her trashy little influence...what could you do? If you just saw it as a quick snack, if we said we could bring one in, every once in a while, like some kind of grab and go deal? Would you like that Sammy?"

Let them go he'd said, be wary of their people because they'd come for them, well with the Slayers nicely out of the way that was really very unlikely.

"Now...I can bring your little snack in or I can play around with Solo some more. Your call Sam?"

She turned back to Jacen waiting for the threats, the rants, waiting for him to ask Sam to let Eve focus on him, because he could 'take' it. Typical. She'd be dissapointed if he went with the obvious. But making them both get all defensive was just entertaining.

Again, Jacen laughed. Honestly, Eve was entertaining with her childish ways. He'd had no idea that Child of the Senior Partners was so literal. "You mentioned them, and that was the second stupid move you've made. The first was taking my lightsabers away," he scowled angrily. "I like those lightsabers and I get cranky when other people touch them." Yes, he was even sentimentally attached to his red weapon, though really, his concern was for the silver lightsaber he had taken from Alema Rar. Despite everything she had been a friend and the idea of anyone else taking what had once been hers made him furious.

"How little you know me, Eve." Giving into the anger, like it was that simple. He'd seen the holos, seen Palpatine with his taunting of Luke. That was then. His own descent had been quite different. 'Nothing you see is real, little Solo'

Vergere had been many things, but one of them was a great teacher.

"Leave the kid alone," he repeated. "Better yet, let him go. For one thing, I don't think any of us want to see what the beak needing one will do when she finds out he's gone. And that's before we get to the smite happy angel and the Slayer girlfriend and really, I've seen that girl before coffee in the morning. It's not pretty. So stop with the stupid ideas, Eve, and let him go."

Really, if she was expecting any form of potential cooperation from him? Eve was going to have to learn a few things. "Call me Sammy again." Sam forced his eyes back onto the bitch, the look on his face clearly suggesting that he was officially out for blood. "And I will rip your throat out." An empty threat. He couldn't do anything. That hardly changed the fact that Sam was furious. First the kidnapping, then the blood taunting, now the stupid nickname. If he had it his way, she'd be writhing on the ground in absolute agony from the amount of pain he'd put her through. Stupid. Smug. Bitch.

And the threats. They were grating on his nerves too. Head falling back again, Sam cast Jacen a wary look. The blood was bad. It was horrible. Yet seeing Jacen take on harm was not going to be a pleasant experience. Jacen didn't deserve it. He was a good man, despite how often Sam chose to keep that information to himself.

He didn't want to see him hurt. But Sam didn't want to drink the demon blood either. Logically. That need on the inside, on the other hand, was begging for it.

"I'm not stupid," Sam decided, "I agree and you're gonna screw around with him anyway. If you were really looking to blackmail me into drinking again, you would have grabbed someone less...well, him." He had to be smart about this. "You said you wanted to play with him, didn't you? Therefore, no matter what I say or do, it doesn't change anything. I'm not drinking it."

Eve laughed, Jacen was adoreable, all serious and stoic and really believing he had a chance at making any of it different. But he was still tied to a chair, shocked at regular enough intervals to block him from the Force and still without his lightsabers.

"Honestly, what Ruby does or doesn't do doesn't scare me, And Faith...oh she'll find her way back eventually, maybe. But I don't need that much time. No ones coming for you two. Not here. And if we're being technical, Alema Rar worked for this firm, and so her lightsaber really has to be counted as our property don't you think. I'll start having it taken apart I think. See how those crystal things power it. What do you think?"

She watched Sam for a few moments, what he said and what he did were different. He wanted the blood, she could see that, she could tell.

"I'm getting his wife you know, as we speak. Cell just down the hall all ready for her. Had this whole theory were I'd have a demon possess her and lock her in a room with Sammy here, see what happened after a few hours. Which one do you think would be dead Jacen?. What about you?" she asked turning to Sam "Who's your money on?"

She laughed and leaned into Sam curiously very glad his hands were tied and very very glad he couldn't kill her purely with the glare.

"Alright I lied. I want to play with both of you. You and Jacen here. You're both just interesting to me. Entertaining. I want to see what makes you boys tick, and our good friend Xander from the future helped me get there. I like the guy. Potential, definitely. And just so amusingly broken inside."

Jacen smirked, nodding as Sam spoke. "The boy's pretty smart, Eve," he commented. "So if you want to hurt me, you might as well just get on with it." Come on, he thought. Get on with it. Give me the strength I need.

He couldn't allow himself time to think on what some of her words meant, about Faith finding her way back. The rest of the people at the Hyperion would help her and then he could see one very angry Slayer storming her way through Los Angeles. He knew they would come, for both of them. He had seen first hand quite how angry the Winchesters could be when one of their own was taken and his Queen was more than capable of cutting through Wolfram and Hart.

And any tampering with lightsabers would no doubt result in loss of limbs so he was not too concerned about that.

What he did focus on was the reference to his wife. "You are not touching her," he all but snarled at the bitch. "And Sam is not going to give into what you want, so you might as well give up now." His smirk turned cold. "Though just for you, I'll give you a very special demonstration of exactly what makes a Sith Lord tick."

"My money is on me exorcising that demon before it gets a chance to even try anything that would potentially harm either of us," Sam responded. It was easier to come up with these witty responses when they were all just playing the battle of conversation. Words. They were all words. Sam honestly didn't know what he would do if he was thrown into a situation like that. It was no secret that he and Tenel Ka had shared their differences in the past, but Sam would have liked to think that he had accepted enough and moved on to avoid letting any of that instinct of his from using that as some sort of twisted reasoning to make it all okay. He would resist.

The Tenel Ka remark was not taken seriously. Sam believed that she would be clever enough to stay out of harms way. Even though we weren't, he thought angrily, hands twisting in desperation for freedom. It was the statement about Faith that sparked that extreme wave of uncertainty within him. "Where is she? What did you do to her?"

Eve was leaning in closer. If only she would dare move in a bit closer than that. Sam would have headbutted her. "Jacen is right. Like I said before: you're wasting your time. On both of us." Sam looked to him for verification. They were both gonna fight through this.

Eve stepped back, she couldn't get any closer than she was to Jacen and Sam without making for a potentially painful few minutes, and immortal as she was that would still have been decidedly inconvenient.

"We'll see. Either way you and Sammy are pretty much stuck with me. So you're gonna have to adjust. Now pretty soon I'm gonna split you boys up. Sorry and all but there are a lot of people that want a word with you Jacen and we've got all sorts of plans for Sam. Because I don't think that he would exorcise that demon we'd put in your wife. Far too much tempation wrapped up in one glowery little one armed alien package"

She shrugged.

"Faith...whats the phrase, She was a very bad girl so I sent her far far away? And her little sister Slayers too. I'm sure they'll be fine, didn't want to keep them gone forever, not yet. Call it a distraction. You and Jacen were the prize" she said, leaning in slightly again "Slayers are Slayers, dime a dozen, especially nowadays, You and Jacen...whole new story. You're both teetering on the brink with the right push"

Any hint of laughing was gone, as was the characteristic Solo smirk. Instead there was just a glare as Jacen leaned forward, straining against the restraints and not even flinching at the latest shock that was sent through his body.

"Let me make one thing clear," his voice was a low growl as he stared at her. "You remember the Caedus who was here, the one who tore through your clients and made even your bosses terrified? He became that because he lost that glowery little one armed alien package. She's my glowery little one armed alien package and if you do anything to make her so much as wince I will show you exactly what Caedus is made of and you will cry like a little, whiny bitch."

He was confident that Tenel Ka was smarter than he was, that she wouldn't have been so duped by Xander and so was not likely to be there was well. And he couldn't even react to the implications of what had been done to the Slayers. He just stared at Eve. He didn't even need to point out to Sam what he would do to him on the off chance that Eve was right and Sam did hurt Tenel Ka. Sam wouldn't. He believed in that. They were both getting out of there and then Jacen was going to Force Lightning Eve in the face.

"I won't touch her." The answer was more for Jacen than Eve. He had to know that Sam didn't want to hurt her, didn't he? If Eve got hold of Tenel Ka, Sam would close his eyes, turn his back to her, and start muttering in Latin until the demon possessing her left. Then he could convince her to help him out and they could fetch Jacen and - the plan sounded really, really clever in his head, but he knew that in actual practice...

Why? Why did this have to happen? All he had wanted to do was one thing. He should have known that anything Ruby related, intentional or not, would result in bad. Lots of bad.

Sent her far, far away. Where had Sam heard that one before? Oh. Right. Lilith. Teeth gritting tightly, Sam bit back a string of curse words and struggled at his ropes again. "I swear, if you did anything to hurt her, I'll kill you!"

Solo's coldness did unnerve her slightly. It wasn't the first time she'd been threatened like that and she knew so much that it wouldn't be the last but there it was. She was intimidated, not that she was about to let on to it.

"That Caedus was unchecked, this one. He won't be. And we'll get him because we will make sure that you fall on our terms. That you're doing it to protect your pretty little wife and..."

Eve trailed off, the daughter might be better than the mother. Sam didn't know what she looked like really did he. She could give him Allana Solo all possessed. Because for all his talk of resisting, Eve really didn't believe he would be able.

"Sam, sweetie. If we have to make you drink then we will make you. If we have to drip the stuff into your veins we will. I don't think you realise how much you don't have a say in this Boy King. You want it. Want the blood and soon that need will override anything else. And as for Faith, well you won't know will you."

She nodded to guards in the corner of the room "Get Solo somewhere nice and private to continue our little chat after he's stewed for a while...and Sammy. You can stay with me right here, there's someone I want you to meet"

Jacen nodded, just slightly, in Sam's direction. He knew. He knew that Sam didn't want to take a demon's blood from anyone, let alone someone he knew. And definitely not from one of the best friends of his girlfriend. Tenel Ka would be safe, he believed in that.

And Eve was just back to being funny.

"You do realize it took a decade of very specific events to create Caedus last time don't you," he looked more bemused than anything else as he looked at the Liaison. "And really, you think you can create something you can control? My dear Eve, you know nothing of the ways of the Sith."

After all, he had been training his younger cousin with the intention that the Apprentice would eventually kill his Master, as it should be.

"Peace is a lie, there is only passion. Through passion, I gain strength. Through strength, I gain power. Through power, I gain victory. Through victory, my chains are broken. The Force shall free me," he recited the code of the Sith from memory, smirking at Eve. "You create a Sith Lord, he will destroy you no matter what you try. That is how the Sith are."

The guards moved to remove him from the room, even as the annoying shocks continued to move through his body. Jacen glanced from Eve to them to Sam. Even though he hated to say anything in front of Eve, he felt he had no choice. "Sam, you're better than her. You're stronger than the need and you can beat her. Faith believes in you, she wouldn't be with you if she didn't. We're going to get out of here, just believe it." Faith believed in Sam and Tenel Ka believed in him. And Jacen was determined that neither of them would let their rather headstrong and scary when they were angry women down.

They were taking Jacen away? No. No, no, no. He needed him here. He couldn't fight Eve off alone. Sam wriggled in his chair, hands twisting against the binds that held him down. They weren't loose enough for him to untangle his way out of. Clearly, his captors knew very well how to keep a man down when they wanted to. Damn it all to hell. And then some.

Watching Jacen with wide eyes, Sam desperately gave the unbreakable ropes another tug before the door separating this room from the next slammed shut, leaving Eve and himself to their own. Ironic name. Eve. It fit the description on what she was attempting to do to him. Tempting him back into the blood. She really was a disgusting little snake, wasn't she?

He had a lot of insults in mind. Plenty of wit, plenty of things that he could say that would either piss her off or amuse her. Sam found that neither would please him personally, so he instead chose to glare up at her from where he sat. She wouldn't get away with what she was doing. Dean and Dad and...that didn't seem like a very strong list of supporting parties, did it? Not with the way that things were lately. There was still Faith. And Tenel Ka, she'd be wanting Jacen back. But would she stop for him on the way if she got here while Faith was someplace else? What if Faith and the others were really far from okay? What if Eve really had seen them dead? Sam swallowed hard.

He had to be strong. He had no weaknesses in the face of his enemy. Sam stared up at Eve and continued to say nothing, waiting for her to start being smug at him again.

And she was smug. Overconfident too. Otherwise she would have shut up with the Sammy already. Bitch.

"Faith believes in you", she repeated Jacen's words back to Sam more than a little amused "And thats one hell of a winning endorsement isn't it. I mean taking away what she used to be for a while. She believed in you when you were sucking the blood of that little demon bitch didn't you. They all did. They all believed in you. And you did then what you'll do now" she said and looked back toward the door.

"Bring it in" she said.

It. Was a demon. Black eyed, dressed up like a waitress and looking more than a little spooked. It knew Sam Winchester. Everyone knew him. But he shouldn't be here. None of them should.

It was restrained too, and bleeding from the neck, they'd made sure to cut it first. Good, very expediant of them. Eve had had them make her a few vials too if Sam was unwilling. One way or another she was getting herself a Boy King out of this.

"Plenty more where she came from Sammy" said Eve coldly, nodding to the guards who pushed the demon toward him and forced it to the floor, tiling its head down at an angle not too far from his mouth. The blood was flowing freely from the vein they'd cut open and Eve waited.

He'd drink. Of course he'd drink.

Faith did believe in him. He didn't have to listen to this. He knew how she felt, even if there were always going to be those little doubts in the back of his mind arguing otherwise. The implication that Faith was stupid to trust him did not seem to sit well with Sam. The seething look that he delivered in response was answer enough to how he felt about all that. It was sort of traditional of the bad guy to run their mouth about things they knew nothing about. Sam knew that. That didn't change the fact that he was still annoyed - no, annoyed was being nice, he was furious - with her.

He wasn't going to break. She couldn't make him.

That thought had only run through his mind before the door opened. Frowning, Sam looked across the room, his heart skipping several beats when he realized exactly what it was that was being hauled in his direction. Immediately, Sam planted his feet to the ground and pushed back. The black eyes only came in second to the sight of the red pouring down the neck of the demon that was being thrust before him.

"No," Sam gasped out, seeing nothing but red. His insides began to protest angrily at his statement of refusal, burning hungrily for the wonderful substance that was being offered. He could taste it already. Delicious. Power.

"Get it away!" He turned his face to the side, screwing his eyes shut. Sam wanted it. Blood. Demon blood. A few swallows of that and he could send Eve and her buddies flying all over the room. A few swallows. Maybe more than a few, maybe - "I don't need it, I don't need it, I don't need it."

"...you can get us out of here" said the demon shaking slightly under the grip of the men above her, they shouldn't have been able to hold her down, but on closer inspection she didn't think they were men at all. They were something else, they smelled wrong. "If you need to take a little then...then do, then we get out of here and you never hear from me again?"

The demon was scared. Out of its element. And willing to deal with the so called Boy King if it meant escape.

Eve stepped closer again, Sam's reactions were nothing short of entertaining. Thrilling even. This was her chance, this was the grab at power she needed to get back into the good graces of her superiors. Sam had been busily being furious at her, and then it had changed. It had all changed on sight of the blood.

And the demon was just adoreable.

"Don't you want to make friends Sam? You could probably even do some damage with her blood flowing through you, and you want it don't you sweetie. You want it and its right there in front of you."

She was ready to just push his face into the open wound. But not yet. She wanted him to break, wanted him to crack all on his own so she could rub it in the face of the Slayer and the Jedi that he had. But he hadn't yet. And that annoyed her.

The demon was trying to negotiate with him. It was logical, what she was saying. He could fight them off. He could free himself. All it would take was a little blood, then he could high tail it out of here while Eve was busy trying to find a way to replace the head that he would have ripped from her shoulders. He wondered how her immortality would have enjoyed that. The thought of that alone raised the temptation to lean forward and start sucking in that blood another bar. Escape. Freedom. And a little bit of revenge on the way. All he had to do was given in. Drink.

"No," he protested, shaking his head. His body was angled oddly, shoulders thrown back, feet pushing at the ground so that he could get as much leverage away from the demon as he could. He kept his eyes away from the gash, knowing that the mere sight of the blood would only drive him into even more of an awful state than he was in now. His mind was filled with thoughts of blood - how it tasted, how it made him feel, how everything was so much easier when he had it pounding through him. Blood. It had been months since he had tasted any. His mouth watered at the realization.

"Get it away." Sam kept his eyes shut. He could do this. He was stronger now. He knew better. "I don't want it. I don't need it. STOP."

Eve rolled her eyes and nodded to one of her guards who pushed Sam's head forward with a not small amount of force till it connected with the neck of the demon. Blood poured from the wound even still and the black eyes of the demon widened in some shock.

If he drank, he'd free them, she knew that much. But would he stop. She'd heard stories. Heard the bitch really had been on the level and on Azazel's payroll. Heard Sam had been the one. But heard he'd drained a demon to do it. Drained them dry.

Eve knelt down at the edge of Sam's chair, he was still securely tied, being held at the bleeding neck of the demon.

"Come on Sam, isn't it just easier to give in to what we both know you want. You know we pull people in just like the partners. We could pull in demons for you. Just for you. No one would even have to know. You could swing by the Firm when you wanted a fix, wouldn't that be nice"

Patronizing. Yes. But then he'd crack, she knew he would.

He was resisting. To the best of his ability, Sam was fighting against the unbalanced desire that was begging him to give in. It was no easy feat, but the way he was holding up now was surprisingly more well handled than he had ever imagined himself capable. He could do this. All he had to do was keep on. He had to remember that he was stronger than the blood. He was -

Suddenly, someone was grabbing him by the beck of his neck. There was a struggle before Sam's mouth connected to the side of the demon's throat, blood painting itself onto his lips. Warm and sticky, it felt so familiar and wonderful to be so close to again. He nearly opened his mouth and started sucking the blood down right then and there.

Sam had a point to prove. Not to Jacen. Not to his family and friends. Not even to Eve. He was not a monster. And he was going to prove that to no one but himself.

He would not drink the blood. No matter how furious that hunger inside of him was clawing at his insides, Sam wouldn't give in. Mouth pressed closed tightly, Sam strained against the hold at the back of his neck. He wasn't a monster. He had a choice and he was, for the first time in a long while, making the right one.

Eve would not win. Nor would the demon blood.

Well this just wasn't fun at all. There he was confronted by his addiction and he was refusing. Why? For Faith. Did he love her that much that he'd fight it for her. That was stupid. Love was stupid. In a twisted way that was probably another reason it had been him and Jacen. They were loved. Like Lindsey was, by better people than her.

She wanted to break him. Make him drink, proove to herself that she was right about love. He'd give in, he would.

"Sam, this is ridiculous. Either way I'm going to make you taste blood tonight. This just probably would have been the way you're more used to. But fine. If you want to play it that way. Fine"

She shook her head. "Take it away he can have it later"

The demon was pulled from Sam and gazed back at him scared even still "Dammit Winchester just drink and we..."

Eve shut the door taking something from the guard that had dragged the demon out. Nothing special. Just a vial.

"Get his mouth open" she told the remaining guards who immediatly pulled his head back and forced his mouth open by holding his nose. And Eve stepped forward opening the vial of blood as she did.

"I told you you'd drink. Betray them all. I told you" she said furiously, pouring the blood into his mouth.

She'd done it. She'd won.

Sam was a little surprised by how suddenly the demon was pulled away from him. The part of him that was so keen on the blood agonized over the gesture. Why wouldn't he drink? What was wrong with him? It was a perfectly logical thing to do! He could escape! He could be strong! Bring it back, bring it back! Sam flopped his head back, mouth still pressed shut tightly as to avoid letting the blood that was smeared across his mouth from passing his lips. One taste and he was done for.

Breathing heavily through his nose, Sam closed his eyes. Maybe she would be done with him for now. She could run off to Jacen, mess with him for a while as Sam tried to regain his bearings for round two. What would round two be like? Would she drag the same demon in all over again and try the same tactic?

No. Because they were still on round one. The command that left Eve forced Sam to open his eyes again, head lifting at the slightest in disbelief. The guards advanced on him, hands reaching down to pry at the mouth that he had so determinedly clamped shut before. With no arms of his own to use to fight back, it was only a matter of time before, as they had done earlier, they mastered control over him.

It wasn't until that moment that the struggle Sam put on in his chair went from determined to desperate. Twisting and pulling, pushing and yanking, Sam tried to get away from the hold they had on him as best as he could, hoping to at least make Eve accidentally spill the vial that she carried in his hands before it got to his mouth. None of that mattered. The guards held him fast and Eve was quick. Before he could even begin to attempt putting up much of a fight (or as much as one could while being tied to a chair), the blood passed through his lips and into his mouth.

And God. It tasted amazing. He wanted to drink it all, to swallow it down and beg for more. It was perfect, it was exactly what he had needed after all this time and...and he wasn't going to swallow it. Sam had already crossed a line by letting himself taste it. Swallowing it would allow the blood into his system and that would only result in extreme bad. THIS was extremely bad. Why had he been busy savoring away at it when he knew how awful it was?

All it'd take was a swallow. But he knew better than that.

What was the saying? Oh, right. Better out than in. As soon as they let go of him, Sam bowed his head down and spit the blood out all over the bitch's shoes.

Looking defiant, and honestly feeling a bit smug, Sam glanced from her shoes to her face. "Whoops."

Her shoes?

He'd actually just spat the blood right back out and on to her shoes.

Son of a bitch.

Eve stepped up glaring at him and delivered a sharp left hander to his cheek. How dare he?. How dare he?

More to the point than even the shoes, she wondered how. How he'd resisted what had made him resist. It wasn't fair. He'd been forced to taste it, and then he hadn't swallowed. She could make him swallow it but that wasn't why he was here. He had to come to the power on his own, be given choices and taught what the firm expected. But he had done none of those things.

"You'll be getting the bill for these." she hissed.

His head swerved down as a result of the blow to the side of his face. It stung, but it didn't take away from the level of self satisfaction Sam was feeling. She really thought that she was going to win this one, didn't she? He had shut her up good too. All she could comment on was her shoes. Her stupid, blood stained shoes.

"Are we done?" Sam asked, brows rising. "Or am I gonna have to ruin some more of your personal belongings? Gee, that's a nice blouse. Maybe I'll aim for that next." He imagined that she would become very, very tired of hanging around him if he sat around spitting blood on her all day long. She had to move on. Better things to do than ruin all her favorite clothes over one guy, right?

He was going to win this. Maybe not in the sense of escaping or avoiding any other fun plans she had for him, but Sam was not going to willingly consume the demon blood. Not ever again.

Eve was fuming, furious even. He was resisting it even when they practicly forced it down his throat. She'd try again, lock him in a room with the demon for a while maybe, try again with the vial, he'd swallow it eventually, he had to. Thats how this worked, thats how it was supposed to happen. Sam Winchester was supposed to give in to his addiction and beg for the firms help.

He was not supposed to resist.

"You should have swallowed it" she said softly "Because now you have the taste don't you, now you have the need again and that temptation, its going to break you before the night is out."

She refused to force it, or inject it or anything like that. No the point was to break him, the point was for him to give in and for that he needed to take it willingly. And he would, she was convinced of it.

He had to.

"Take a break, stew a little, get that taste back in your mind and we'll try again after a while"

She turned to her guards. "Leave him like he is, don't give him water, don't give him so much as a towel if he asks, The second he breaks and so much as takes a lick of the blood you tell me. And if he doesn't, we'll try again with that demon. All fresh, just the way he likes it"

She slapped him again for good measure and looked down at her shoes. Ruined, entirely ruined. She would need new ones before going and talking to Solo. Or he'd be smug at her. And Sam was already doing that.
