Sam immediately pushed himself back as far as he could. He didn't like her being close. Her smug face, those taunting words. She could go back to her little corner across the room. He really, really wanted her to. As much as he physical appeared to be attempting to evade her, he still couldn't ignore what she was preaching. The blood. She was talking about the blood. Red, spilling, powerful -
"No." Nostrils flaring, Sam glared. "I said I wasn't. Now get out of my face."
Boy King. Oh, how he hated that name.
She was right, of course. Sam could taste it. Always. On everything he ate, the need to swallow down that thick, red substance was always there. It was easy to ignore some days, but others...Sam closed his eyes and drew in a breath. "Let us go. Spare yourself the trouble of losing your people when ours come looking for us."
Jacen could be heard just across the room. The only thing in the room that Sam could willingly look at without feeling disgusted. And that was at a bare minimum as it were. Jacen was in this too. They had plans for him. She was gonna screw with them both and right now there was nothing that either of them could do about it.
