Summary: Athena pops by Hades' office to catch up and see what she might have missed. He fills her in on a few things (and gets scolded a bit) before they get some Indian takeout.

Summary: D, being mopey, gets himself plenty drunk in the woods. Athena finds him while out on a walk and he vents. Scene still in progress!

As was the growing tradition when Alana had a party, the front door of the house itself was unlocked, with the gate to the backyard open. The grill was prepped and ready to go, chairs and food were set out as a boom box played local radio station. Inside held what normally passed for a bar, with one of the giant frozen margarita buckets at the ready for people to scoop out as they wanted. As far as she knew, there were no minors at the party, so none of the drinks were being watched.

Pirate was, of course, also wandering around and being as sociable as his owner normally was, accepting handout of affection and food. But when he put his paws up on the table, it was Alana herself who called him down. "Hey! I don't let you do that without guests, and I'm doubly not lettin' ya do that with 'em." She glanced around, wondering if Bowser was about yet to help distract the puppy. The crowd, really, was still thin. She'd just have to wait to see who else showed up.

Summary: The eldest daughter returns home, much to Zeus' joy.

Summary: Athena is bored and restless and finds herself near the office of Call Up Consultation and decided to visit her favorite uncle. They are not cheery people except when they actively try it seems.

What: Fourth of July BBQ~
Where: Alana's New Place
When: Friday, Fourth of July

Note: I'm posting this early so people have a chance to answer. Feel free to wait until the actual Fourth of July if you want.

She'd managed to land a new place, and sent out notices to anyone she knew that she'd be willing to hang around with. Basically, information stating that this was her new place, and mixed the day of celebration with a mini house warming party. The house wasn't huge, with two smallish bedrooms, and one long room that served as both dining room and living room. The kitchen had a pair of sliding doors though that opened to a decent sized back yard, and it made the site actually pretty good for the holiday. Now, if she just could find a dog she liked...

Outside, a large folding table and an odd collection of burrowed chairs and cheap patio seating had been set up for the guests. The grill was ready to be lit, and a variety of food scattered a large table. Mostly it was chips, veggies, fruit, and other easy to foods that involved little cooking. Alana was not a chief. She had the stereo within the house on and blasting music, the fridge full of different drinks, and the hostess herself... Well, she was in the living room, looking like she'd fallen asleep with the front door open, waiting for whoever happened to show up first.

Summary: Athena keeps good on her word to let Alana help out with the prepping of the bookshop, and so Alana comes over and helps. In the midst of bookshelf building, they chat. A lot.

Hera had arrived at eight to begin seeing to all that would be needed for the sake of the meeting. There were to be no people in any room even remotely near by, the walls well made to prevent sound from escaping. She brought in various food and snacks that were left on the counter with plates and cups, coffee and hot water to the side. A small fridge held milk, juice and a few choices of soda, as well as water. A small bathroom was even connected to the space. No. There would be no excuse for them to be disturbed during these plans, and she would see that everything was needed.

A large draw erase board was posted on one wall; note tablets and pens available. She'd even brought her small laptop computer in case it was needed.

Now, as the hour drew closer, the Queen peered around what would serve as the battle chamber for however long the plans took. She doubted that it would take long, but she would at least be prepared for such things. Her pumps made barely any sound as she made a last circle around the table, then walked out to the hall to see who would arrive first.
