And spread the ashes of the colors...
Characters: Wanda, Pietro, Nick, Pepper, Tommy, Teddy, Billy
Setting: Thanksgiving evening, Wanda and Pietro’s townhouse
Content: Um. Idk.
Summary: An awkward Thanksgiving meal
Everything was going to be perfect, Wanda was sure. The dining room place settings in the dining room were tasteful pieces she’d bought just for the occasion in fall colors. All the serving dishes matched and were filled with the best catered Thanksgiving meal money could by. Turkey and mashed potatoes and stuffing and cranberry sauce and a pumpkin pie waiting for dessert. She wanted to have a nice dinner for she and Pietro’s first real Thanksgiving- it wasn’t a holiday Magnus ever observed. She wanted to prove to the boys she could be a good mother and she wanted to impress Nick and Pepper and she wanted to play the consummate hostess. What Wanda wanted and what would probably actually happen were two very different things. Already the evening had a certain damper on it- the boys’ friend Cassie refused to attend despite an invitation from Wanda. Of course she'd left a message for Steve, if for nothing else than the gesture, even though she didn't expect an answer. When Wanda texted Tony an invite he claimed he was busy. His personal assistant was going to be here so that was obviously a lie. Tony just didn’t want to see her and Wanda did her best not to think about it as she fluttered around at the last minute making sure her dress was pristine and the flat was clean and the table was all ready. Now all that she needed were her guests.
