I'm a figure skater.
I work at Starbucks as a barista.
I love going to Broadway plays.
My best friends mean the world to me.
I enjoy spending my days off walking around downtown.
I live in NYC.

- My favorite play on Broadway right now is Jersey Boys which I have seen 8 times and plan on seeing it more times. I have seen the musical, Pippin 127 times on Broadway and Spider-Man Turn off the Dark on Broadway 219 times. When I find a play that I love...I go to that play all the time LOL.

-My family means the world to me as well as my best friends who I trust my life with.

-My journal usually consists of my everyday life, what goes on at work, my best friends, and my favorite actors (mostly Erich Bergen)

-I'm looking for any new friends who comment. I comment back on anyone who comments on my entries.

-I love music, especially The Four Seasons, The Beatles, Hanson, NKOTB, Ed Sheeran, Backstreet Boys, John Lloyd Young, Erich Bergen, etc. My favorite movies include, Jersey Boys, Rocky Horror Picture Show, The Crow, Annie, Aladdin, Grease, etc. My favorite TV shows include, Sleepy Hollow, Gotham, Hell's Kitchen, Master Chef, Madam Secretary, Boardwalk Empire, etc.

Greetings & salutations, fellow maniacs of IJ & this community. I joined up a couple-few weeks ago but haven't made a peep until now. Might be shyness, might just be caution, might be laziness - who knows? Could be all of the above & prob'ly is! >:D

im an odd yet delightful blend of sweet, brash, kind & crass. I vow to irritate, inflame, arouse, intrigue & baffle you consistently & without fail. I will do all in my power to keep you alert, confused, mentally-tweaked & subconsciously fine-tuned.



I have spent over half a century in my chosen area of expertise excreting untold gallons of blood, sweat, piss, shee-ite & tears undergoing my craft's brutal educational processes to become the keen & fear-free, blatant advisor that the decades have forged me into.

I shoot from the hip & I make no apologies for my gut-wrenching honesty.

My points of view & personal philosophies have stemmed directly from my hard-won & cruelly-gleaned experiences down through the long, arduous years.

I'm real, true, shameless, but I am also caring, compassionate, understanding, insightful & willing to help guide a meandering, tentatively-afflicted fellow soul along his or her own difficult journey toward eventual spiritual maturity & fulfillment.

Now - All *I* need is help, advice & guidance at figuring out all this bewildering technical crap I need to know in order to get my stuff working & right in IJ here.

Like - how do I get my journal into the search engines? Where IS everybody in IJ so I can get people on board? How do I GET people on board & subscribing?

Is IJ really active with bloggers & members or am I pretty much alone out here?

Hi..I don't know who'll read this. Or who will follow me. But oh well.

I'm Natalie, 14, from Oxford (yes, I have a posh accent). I'm in year 10, so hooray for me, GCSE's (seriously, who invented these?). I just want to express my views on life. I also want to try and keep up to date with the goals I would love to achieve (aka singing). I explain all this kind of stuff in my journal though. Please take I look, if interested. I'm a male in my mid 40's. Just got back into a career as a university professor, and am in the process of trying to figure out my life. I have kids from a previous marriage that live 2000 miles away from me. I guess you do what you can to get work when you can, but its hard. The separation is gauling and leaves me wanting...

I used to be a "player" when I was young, but in my adult life I have been a "serial monogomist" for the most part. I was with the same woman for 8 years, the one who mothered my kids, but she fell in love with a woman and now I am back in the non-permanent relationship world. Our split happened over 4 years ago and I can say I am over that relationship.

I started another relationship about 2 years ago. She is a wonderful woman, but is a professional actor and we have a long distance relationship. Until recently, I never thought of another woman...until recently...

My blog will be about feelings, situations (some non-graphically sexual), and the state of my being human. I hope it is something people can relate to. I think love and yearning are so much of our American landscape that we end up denying and hiding from the rich and powerful drives that churn in our guts while, at the same time lifting us to new heights.

my name is amanda and i've been on a intermittent hiatus from the site. i'm 21 years old and enjoy life. i'm in a loving relationship with a guy who loves me more than I can say.

i work at a hospital as an underling to CNAs and am taking a break from school. i'm going through my anxiety stuff so I realized maybe writing would help me again.

i play MMOs like world of warcraft & i also enjoy moba games, my favorite being league of legends. i love reading and will read pretty much anything so suggestions are welcome. i enjoy my tv mostly due to my anxiety and even though i don't have cable or anything. supernatural, charmed, and rosario+vampire are some of my favorites.

So hi! I'm new to IJ (I suppose that's a bit obvious), and looking to meet new friends. I'm a bit ... weird ... and I'm also quite sensitive, though when I'm passionate about something I can be a hellraiser. So I'm mostly looking for open minded, positive folks.

I love reading, writing, being outdoors, spending time talking to friends, simple living, thrifting, quiet time in nature, meditation, rain storms (heck yes!), and frugal cooking.

I'm currently unemployed, but working on setting up my own communications business, focussing on the mind-body-spirit industry.

I've been happily married to an amazingly tolerant fellow for the last ten years. I'm childfree by choice. I'm also pretty poor (but I prefer to think of it as bohemian), creative, rather socially inept, great at appearing super confident and in charge, silly, easygoing, and maybe a bit more quick tempered than I first appear. I'm in my early thirties.

I'm also what you might call "multiple" or maybe "median", but this journal isn't about that. So long as you're open minded enough to be ok with that aspect of who I am, we're cool. I'm just looking to meet nice peeps who share some of my interests :)

Life long forum lurker and blogger of questionable taste and skill speaking, and I hope to find some new victims kindred spirits, and some fellow dabblers in the art of writing to join in my ill-advised fiction challenges, memes, and half-baked prose perpetuation schemes. I have never before embarked on any kind of communal writing projects or challenges, and as often as I have read them, I have no idea how to run, participate, or properly format them. Okay then, very new here. First journal, first time posting.

I'm in my early twenties, and I'm willing to discuss pretty much anything. Whether I'm interested or not I can talk, at lenght, about it whatever it is. I like to be convinced to watch new shows, or movies, or read new books. I sometimes can come across as sarcastic, but I try not to, and sometimes I can curse, but again, I try not to.

So. That's me, distilled to a paragraph. Anyone wanna talk, I'll talk.

So I've had a few insane journals before and I can never seem to remember the password. I curse like a sailor and have next to no filter. The posts on my journal will sometimes be vulgar and graphic. I'm a 20 year old woman; you should expect nothing less. With that being said, please please please do not attempt to converse with me if you're well under 18. I have cousins and such for that. I watch Anime, I usually talk about Star Wars, DC, video games, Xbox, coffee, cigarettes, stuff that pisses me off, drinking, music you probably won't like and my everyday life. Enjoy (:
