Hi, everyone! I'm Amanda. I just joined up with InsaneJournal yesterday, and am still getting the feel for how things go around here. I'm new to this site, but am also something of a veteran at blogging. While I knew that IJ existed before now, I never really got interested in joining up until recently. Anyhoo...it's nice to meet y'all, and I'll see you on the boards!

Hello! My name's Dagzar and I'm rather new to the blogging experience, so this is a first for me.

I'm a seventeen year old student who's interested in becoming a writer one day, and if not that, at least an editor for a publishing company of some sort. In my spare time, I enjoy reading fanfiction, procrastinating on homework, and drawing.

Hi! My name is Star Journeying and I am a 'newcomer' to IJ. I'm not new to blogging though and have a LJ account but getting tired of the commercial approach Live Journal is taking. I found Insane Journal through an internet search on Wikipedia.

I'm an older blogger who loves to relate my experiences and learn from others as I keep growing. I may have not 'seen it all' but have witnessed many events through the years. My full time working years were in business until I stepped down in 2004. I now work on a part-time basis over the internet and love dabbling in graphics/animation. My other interests center around my three dachshunds, history, writing, interior decorating, and of course, the hobby of stargazing. The asylums I would be interested in joining are ones involved in graphics, fan fiction, writing, and adoring pet owners. So there is so much to explore on IJ.

I would love to gain friends here and hopefully, they will join me on my journey as we all question or gain wisdom on the road of life. And what a magical lesson to experience!

Hi. I'm Nicole. I'm 23 and I live in Texas. I was around back on GJ and then moved to scribbld, but it's so slow and buggy. Figured I'd try this out

I'm currently finishing my externship for culinary school. I attended the Texas Culinary Academy in Austin for Patisserie and Baking. On top of my externship (where I work for free) in a cupcake bakery, I also work (for money and not class credit) the early morning shift at a bread bakery. Hurray for waking up at 3am.

I live with my boyfriend, who is a chef/butcher for Ruth's Chris. He's pretty awesome :)

Anyway, add me I'd you'd like. My posts will most likely be about food I'm making.

My name is Jessica, but you can call me Jewsica. I'm a 19 year old vegan atheist. I'm mostly Greek, but also a little French and Dutch. I'm not in school, but I teach ballet at a dance studio. I've been dancing since I was 6 and I especially love hip hop and ballet. Eventually I want to go to school to be an artist, or maybe a photographer. I'm an only child, but I've got a lot of cousins who live close by and I love hanging out with them. I have a black bass and I've been playing it for a few years now even though I'm not very good. I have a 2006 white Chevy Impala and I love it. I'm not judgmental, just extremely opinionated.I hate drama and controversy so please keep them out of my life. I've done some bad things in my life, but I don't think it makes me a bad person; I just have really poor judgment, but I'm working on that. I've hurt people I thought I'd never hurt, and I wish I'd never hurt. And people have hurt me. I do not want children. I wish I were younger so my immature, childish behavior would be more acceptable. I am in no hurry to grow up.

Hello fellow IJ-ers!

I am a 21 year old college student onward to getting a bachelor's in Psychology. I love art. Most of my elective classes I have taken have something to do with art like drawing, ceramics and sculpture. I love to draw. I think ever since I learned how to stand on my own two feet, I started drawing. It's been that long, lol. My drawing style is anime-ish. I like to create my own characters..or sometimes I just like to randomly doodle. I do like anime by the way, though it's been a LONG TIME since I've sat down and watched some japanese cartoon. I am a very open-minded person and I don't judge others. I feel everyone has a right to believe what they want to and it's our responsibility to respect others. I am sociable and I love making new friends. I love writing [even though my grammar can get bad sometimes] and I want to enhance my skills in it. I love to RP [role-play] and it's been a long while since I've RPed.

I am really interested in learning how to create cool banners using html coding. I want to learn html coding so bad. I think it would be cool to create a site based just on html coding. I just got into this whole BitTorrent thing [a program where you can download any expensive program] and I just downloaded thing Photoshop CS4 Extended thing..but for some reason the key number thing doesn't work. Does anyone have a spare key out there or know where I can find one myself?

Wow..sorry for my random outburst of blabbing there.

I just re-joined IJ. It's been about a year since I disappeared from IJ due to school and family issues. I first started out at Livejournal and that soon went down to the gutter after a few friends and I started to not get along. So I turned to GreatestJournal, when I soon was caught up in it's major "GreatestJournal is dead. Please proceed in exporting all your journal entries to another blog site" ..etc. That was kind of fun to watch it all play out.

Anyways, I am here again hoping to return to my habit of writing everyday in my journal and make some new friends along the way.

I am completly New to this IJ....So far LOVING it....

As is probably evident, I'm a newcomer to InsaneJournal, but not new to Internet blogging in general. I've switched between two Livejournal accounts over the last three years or so and have started to search for alternative sites due to LJ's increasingly commercial nature (yes, the ads bug the hell out of me :p). I came in after what is now known as Strikethrough 2007, so I wasn't affected as much as others in matters relating to fandom, but rather in regards to browsing experience in general (the fact that I tend to be quite anal about how my layouts are supposed to look certainly doesn't help XD).

What else.... I'm a twenty year-old Political Science major from the back-end of the civilized world, with very odd, eclectic tastes, a habit of always taking a strong liking to the underdogs (hence my love affair with Yuugiou GX) and a passion for reading. A well-stocked bookshop with world literature is my personal happy-place.

Other than that I sometimes write fic, make icons, supply the fandom with links to fan-art or seed files, fiddle with CSS codes -- and lately, roleplay. Speaking of which, if anyone over here knows of a pan-fandom, active RPG, I would very much appreciate the recommendation.

I am still new to Inssane Journal in my opinion. I originally joined since I heard it was a pretty opened minded community. I love to write but sadly I don't have much of a chance to between work and school. But yeah, I enjoy darker topics and themes that make many people uneasy and that others just really don't understand. Oh dear, I bet I sound like some crazy by now. HaHa, I just have an interest in Psychology, Ethics and Philosophy and Sociology to some extent. Most of what i enjoy writing is centered around fanfiction. I'm a huge, Huge fan of Ai no Kusabi, Gundan Wing and any thing CLAMP. But... GW always seems to be the winner. lol! Anywho, for the record I am very much sane. I'm just another struggling, poor college student out there. I look forward to meeting new people! ^^

So I'm new to insane journal, and I'm having trouble with formatting my journal entries, particularly when I post it, then try to edit the post. Some journal entries that I view on other people's journals have a link in the entry that takes you to an "extended" version of the entry in a manner of speaking, but it's all the same entry. Does anyone know how to do this? Also, is there any way to change the way I view the text when I'm editing a journal entry that has already been posted to the "rich text" option?

On a side note, I apologize if this is not the place to ask questions. I just couldn't find the information I need any where else, and I pretty sure the support board people are tired of seeing questions popping up from me at this point.

I am new here and will be mostly using it to write personal entries much liek a regular diary. I do want to start one or two communities, one to talk about horror books, the other to talk about movies. I have posted them but am leaving them be for the moment until I learn all I can about maintaining them and whatnot.

Other than that, not much to say right now.

Not new to journaling, and semi-new to insanejournal. my last name on her was ~pillish. I used to d mad drugs andparty all the time, but now I'm pregnant and trying to get back on my feet. I'm 21 and engaged, and for the most part, I'm happy. I miss the crazy lifestyle of raves and parties and all that, but ya gotta grow up sometime, and what better force behind me to help me change?
