[Action | Open] Hospital, Mingle-ish~
[It's busy in the hospital. Bots are puttering around, carrying supplies from room to room, keeping meticulous records for each of the patients, ensuring that all are treated and stable. Changing bandages, adjusting medications. Efficient little guys. They have to be in the wake of an Exorcist battle.]

[If you let them know who you're here to see, the bots calmly will direct you to the appropriate location. It might be a patient room, or the waiting area if treatment is ongoing. Feel free to chat amongst yourselves as you await word.]

((OOC: This is taking place between the evening of and the day following Cross's unfortunate episode and the resulting Noah beatdown. Consider it a mingle-type; people can chat in the waiting rooms or hallways at any point throughout the night or following morning, or they can come see any of the injured Exorcists.

[You might ordinarily be able to tell Cross's room from down the hall by the fuss being raised inside. For now, however, you'll have to rely on the bots to tell you. Not that he's above raising a fuss, but the way he's feeling it'll have to be worth his while.]

[His condition is better than one might expect. There are bandages, lots of them, covering his neck, chest, wrists. An IV is hooked into one elbow, its pump chirping merrily as it loads Cross full of whatever's in the hanging bag. Having refused one of those disgusting hospital gowns it's all quite visible; a sheet covers him from the waist down, but beneath that it's navy blue scrub pants, the best compromise he could get.]

[He's dozing for the moment, in a haze of anesthetic and the aftermath of Road's dreams. But he knows you're there. He just may or may not care enough to react right away.]

[It took a while to peel away from dispatch. And then there was waiting, time spent loitering in the waiting area with a few familiar faces, a couple new ones. Antiseptic smells, whispers, uncomfortable chairs and fake plants. Even in prison a hospital never really changes, a fact she's not so sure she's comfortable with as she gently pushes open the door of Cross' room. Komui gave her the okay, and she's not the first visitor, but she wanted to get in and... see him.

It was a shocking day. Night. Too long, too tiring. Draining.

Peeking her head around the edge of the hanging curtain, her earphones are around her neck and silent as stone. She's not sure what she expects, so her first glance just soaks up a lot of bandage. The second glance, flicking back up to his face, is curious as to whether or not he's conscious. The third studies the bandages again, assessing just... how badly injured he might be under there.

She edges further in, sliding her fingers along the curtain and ends up bedside. Quietly,] Hey there, good looking.
