1 | AGE UP/DOWN
Maybe they are a little kid. Maybe they're just from a slightly earlier time in their life that makes a big change. OR Your character could be a few days older or a few years. Maybe this comes with a canon update and maybe it's just what could be if they stay in prison.

2 | GHOSTS ABOUND
You start seeing visions of people from home. They could be dead or alive, but they don't interact. You just get glimpses of them before they blink in and out like static. Or maybe it's worse than that. Maybe you're the one who can't touch anything. Good thing you can still interact at least.

Your choice whether you want to make this an AU where they have always been this way or whether their memories and perceptions are the same and only their body has changed.

4 | ALTERNATE UNIVERSE
Maybe you have a canon AU to choose. Maybe you just want to see what your character would be like if they had been made a vampire back in the day. They could be from a world that lost the war. There was probably a war at some point, right? You get the idea.

5 | POWER CHANGE
If you had no power, now you have one. Use this if you don't want to choose. If you had a power already you can choose to have it gone or to pick a new one!

[Something was different about today. Michiru could feel it, but given the limitations on her abilities here, she couldn't put her finger on it. So today she left Naiad behind to find what seemed strange.

Completely different to how she normally was, she was running through the streets. It really didn't take her long to get there and as soon as she saw who it was she came to a complete stop and couldn't help but stare for a long moment]

Haruka?

[ Haruka turns at the voice ~~in a swirl of rose petals~~, somehow managing to look drop-dead ravishing in an orange prison jumpsuit. Her eyes widen. ]

Michiru....

[ ...well, in retrospect she can't be surprised. They sinned together, they'll be punished together. But.

Taking in Michiru's attire, and despite the questions it raises, she smiles. ]

....already accessorizing, I see.

[Michiru stands there for a long moment. She can't believe it. She really can't believe it! But there she is, standing in front of her, wearing that silly orange jumpsuit they gave to everyone when they arrived. She really is here.

She smiles then crosses the distance still left between them to hug her. It had been over three months since she'd last seen her. That was far too long. She'd missed her, but she isn't ready to admit that since she hadn't wanted others from her world to get trapped here too, even if that meant being alone]

	[Michiru honestly wasn't expecting her to understand what it was about. She had just arrived after all. She just needed to do this for herself to know that Haruka was really there. [ Haruka tries to puzzle this out but nope, she doesn't recall any recent time shenanigans. But if that's what Michiru says has happened, then it's happened. No doubt.

Instead of protesting, then, she'll meet Michiru's eyes, looking concerned but aching inside. Three months. Of punishment? By herself? And Michiru had to bear it alone... ]

What happened?

[Michiru could see the concern in her eyes. She didn't want her to be concerned. She'd come to live with this place. The worst part been being alone, especially when there were so many couples around.

She reached down to take Haruka's hand before she spoke]

This place is called Marina Nova. It's actually the second prison we've been in, third that we know of overall. The first two aren't like prisons at all. The third was. But they all somehow lie outside of normal time flow. People arrive from different points in their world's timeline. Supposedly the wardens or who ever created them replace the people they take with someone who won't commit the same crimes, but I have doubts about that explanation.

[ But that's not the important part. Thinking over this explanation, she squeezes Michiru's hand, then starts wiggling her fingers between the other woman's. Now that she's here, she won't let go. ]

Three prisons, to punish outside of normal time... [ A chuckle. ] Sounds like I've been an unreliable partner. Sorry.

[ She slings an arm around Michiru's shoulders, torn between wanting to take in the sights and just being relieved that Michiru's here. Is that wrong? But like this, neither of them has to be alone....it's horrible, and selfish, but she feels like she can handle any punishment the world doles out so long as Michiru's with her. She'll gladly be there for Michiru, too....three months, that just seems cruel even with all they've done, she wishes it'd been her forced to endure instead...

Either way, if she's read the rules about inmates and intimacy, Haruka doesn't show it. ]

Haruka, dear, that is no one's color or style.

[There was a playful grin on her face that should tell Haruka she was joking around too. She smiles up at Haruka as she slings her arm over her shoulders. There were plenty of times to see the sights while they walked.

Michiru had felt guilty about missing Haruka because she didn't want her trapped here either. Now, it was out of her hands and she didn't have to miss her anymore]

Right this way.

[ Haruka smiles. She's happy to follow Michiru's lead, absorbing the sights, drawing conclusions. This institution spares no expense in broadcasting its rules, that's for sure...she's skimmed her welcome info but prefers forming her own conclusions.

Which are "this place almost looks normal". And she's not sure whether to be reassured or suspicious of that. (At least Michiru doesn't seem to have been harmed. A small, but crucial, blessing.) ]

It's funny. This...isn't how I pictured being punished.

[ She's not complaining, mind you, but. Weird. ]

[Michiru is more than happy to lead the way, heading towards "The Row" in Sector 4. There were only two clothing shops she was aware of and she liked this one better. Plus it was closer to where she lived than the other]

It isn't for me either. The first one had a worse start. You didn't end up with the jumpsuit, but there was a restraint that they were trying to get one of the bots to lead you around for one to three days depending on what that warden considered reasonable. I would have had to do that, but I had been there previously for a day and became acquaintances with a few people who helped me avoid the bots.

[Breaking the rules on her first day. Aren't you proud of her?]

	[Michiru leans more into her at the touch. She'd missed it so and finally she had her again. She had settled in quickly, yes, but it was nothing that she wasn't willing to let Haruka in on. [ Oh, this is dangerous. They have things to be doing, and Haruka should feel more disgruntled at being flung into what as far as she can tell is a particularly immaculate dystopia (given the amount of rules in place). But she's also been fighting off her innate sappiness ever since she saw Michiru here and heard the circumstances, and like hell is she going to worry about all that nonsense right now. ]

Yeah. We'll bear it all together.

[ This just graduated to a full embrace. And from the look on her face, she's tempted to take it a step further. ]

[Michiru hugs her back. She can see by the look on her face there maybe other thoughts crossing her mind so for the moment she's going to stop, at least until she has a chance to talk to Haruka - in private - about the issue with licensing. She knows people who break the rule get called out on the morning announcements along with getting punished and that she doesn't want for either herself or Haruka]

Let's go get you some decent clothes then I can show you to my apartment. There's some more things I should tell you about this place.

I'm all ears.

[ And eyes. And hands. And - whoops, yeah, they did have something to do. They should get shopping over with so they can go back to Michiru's place and assess the situation.

Right.

Haruka will sweep Michiru alongside her, then, glancing up to see whether she can tell where they're headed. A new life, with Michiru. Probably fraught with punishment.

Best to enjoy these quiet moments while they can. ]

[Punishment was all subjective at least. The rules really weren't all that hard to follow. Though a few might be harder for some and that was part of the reason Michiru wanted to talk to her alone.

Luckily it wasn't too far for them to go. The sector, they are entering now has a park, shops and other buildings, including an apartment building that's part of a clocktower]

It's not far. This is the sector where I live. The store is also here.

[She shakes her head] No, they aren't. They all seem to have a different focus. This one - this sector 4 - has a more old world feel I guess you could say. 2 is much more modern for example. Ironically, I believe the closest thing to a prison we have aside from the giant dome is in the Defense Force headquarters and that's only for people who cause problems, such as attacking others.

Ah, here we are. [She stops in front of the store] "The Row". We can get you something to wear here.
