Hi everyone! My name is Sel and I'm bringing in this sassy communications officer from Star Trek AOS! If you're not familiar with Nyota Uhura, she kicks lots of ass, speaks all the languages and might have a certain fondness for Vulcans. Maybe. I'm bringing her in from post-Into Darkness, meaning all the angst.

Hello all! This is a quick little update to bring a few things to the playerbase's attention!

As most of you may know, this chapter of Mandalus' story is ending soon. We've estimated late January/early February for the game end. With that in mind, as great as it is that more people are coming to the game, we'd like those that invite their friends to make sure their friends are aware of the end date. It's not that we don't want them, it's simply that we'd like them to be aware that they are more than welcome to apply, but the game will be ending in the near-near future.

Also! When your friends apply, in the application where it asks where they heard about the game, we'd appreciate it if they gave your name instead of just 'my friend', so we know how to connect the dots and who they heard about it through the grape vine and all that good stuff.

On the continued subject of applications and new people, while we are pleased that people are interested in our little game, we would like more communication between people that are interested in joining, and those already here. For example, if someone was interested in playing Riku or Kairi from Kingdom Hearts, it would only be polite to contact Sora's mun. Or if someone wanted to play Bobby Singer or Crowley from Supernatural, the potential apper should contact one or two of the Supernatural castmates, if not all of them. Everyone's headcanon is different and it's best to communicate with the people your character has existing CR (canon) with.

And finally, we would like to mention that the mod team works hard to bring you interesting events and situations within the game. The decisions we've made, we've made for a reason and we ask that you respect the mods and the events that we've created. We understand that people don't always get along, and that you may not agree with our decisions. But when you may have a problem of some kind, please keep in mind we are trying to help you and do not deserve any backsass or belligerence.

We hope you look forward to the December holiday plot and once Dr. McCoy and his clique get this whole sickness thing under control, prepare for all of the holiday fun!

He is a former spy gardener turned tailor on a happy little space station in the middle of a war with a bunch of shapeshifters.

Hello Mandalus! I am Spider, and I bring to you Abathur, the Evolution Master of the Swarm!

This giant space caterpillar is a living library and laboratory for his species' genetics. He is old, he is intelligent, and he has all the sense and morals of a particularly disinterested rock. But he's a real sweetie, I swear.

He is also in quite a lot of trouble: He is a zerg, and therefore only intended to function as part of a collective, bound together by a psychic leader whose mental power keeps every brood in check, and keeps the higher organisms sapient. Unfortunately, his leader isn't here.

I am operating under the assumption that there will be hand-wavey explanation for how Abathur won't be immediately going feral upon arrival, but I still have a request: Abathur can be controlled by any psychic characters of considerable strength, or, failing that, he will very likely latch on to whomever has the strongest leadership qualities, by his particular, species-specific standards. This is a psychological imperative for him, that he will be unlikely to break free of.

However it should be noted, while Abathur will happily--well, willingly, it's hard to tell if he can feel happy--accept the purpose and orders of a chosen leader, he is still quite capable of independent action, and has displayed no conscience or moral inhibitions. These are foreign concepts to the zerg, and he operates on a highly-developed philosophy that is quite unlike the human norm. Be warned, he may act unpredictably if not properly managed, and he will most certainly attempt to repopulate his species while at Mandalus.

Anyone who is interested in controlling him, let me know! I also have one more offer: Abathur has been known to alter living beings on request to expand or alter their capabilities. He will be limited in what he can do at first, but anyone who is seeking biological modification, Abathur will be the zerg to ask. I will, however, feel obligated to run all potential changes past the mods first.

Hello, hello! The name's Knightblazer - or KB for short - and after being sort of enabled by a certain somebody I come into this game with one Bruce Banner from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I'm pretty sure everyone knows who he is, but tl;dr he's a nice guy until he turns into a giant green rage monster. And then he's not so nice. But he won't do that unless you piss him off, which is rare. Hopefully.

Anyway, it's very nice to meet you all! It'll be a while before I can make an IC intro since I'm about to head off to school (and in case you guys need to know, I live in futureland so my tagging times are going to be weird). But yes, I am excited to be able to RP Bruce again after a long while - so here's to loads of awesome ahead! :D

Howdy folks! New person here--the name's Chasekat, and I'm bringing Enjolras from Les Miserables! He's from book canon, not that it deviates much, but for those of you who haven't seen anything about it it's p much this dude steals a loaf of bread, almost gets caught, and 18th century sjws build a fort and have a furniture party also everyone dies.

The Lady Sif of Asgard has arrived in your fair world and she will surely be in need of direction as well as friends.

So, yes, Batty here bringing in another badass chick, they are my type NEGL. Sif is coming in after the events of Thor 2 so she knows what's going on back home for her dear friend Thor and will likely be upset about not being able to return home at first. Once she discovers why the honored guests are here she will probably be happy being a defender of the realm.

I have to apologize, I thought I had great plans for Emma but it has shown that I really haven't done nearly enough with her and she frankly deserves a lot better. I tried but I think I underestimated how complex she would be in this setting. Her cast deserves better and so does she, so Emma will be going home to be with Henry and her family in facing the Wonderland adventure.

I know a character as great as Emma will probably not stay gone for long and we'll get someone who can do her justice. I'll still be around with Peggy and possibly some new characters. Thank you for being great people to write Emma with in the time she's been here.
