Story: The Werewolf Schoolteacher..., for Rivertempest

Add to Memories Tell a Friend

The Werewolf Schoolteacher, The Potions-Master-Turned-Baker, and a Pasticceria Altogether, for Rivertempest

From: Osmalic

Summary: Five years after Deathly Hallows, Remus and Teddy move to an Italian wizarding town. For some reason, Remus starts frequenting the local pastry shop where Severus is the head baker.

Rated: Gingersnaps (PG13)

Word count: 11,617

Characters: Teddy Lupin, OCs

Warnings: Some angst

Author Notes: The original prompts really had me leaving my comfort zone, and I can only beg for forgiveness if I butchered a beautiful language. I only had Google Translate to rely on for Italian translations. A HUGE thank you to the mods of this year's exchange. I know I was naughty, but I hope you forgive me. Finally, thank you to the offline person with whom I exchanged ideas and who edited.

Story: "A Relative Truth" for stasia

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
A Relative Truth for stasia

From: Your Secret Snupin Santa

Summary: Severus Snape wakes up in a house owned by Remus Lupin. Unfortunately, he hardly remembers who Remus Lupin is.

Rated: Gingersnaps (PG-13)

Warnings: none

Notes: Main characters include two-year-old Teddy and other casts. Thank you to my beta for going through this and holding my hand the entire time. Thank you to the mods of Snupin Santa, who were very patient with me even when I was mucking up. And a very special thank you to Stasia, whose works are big inspirations. I remember reading a story you wrote with the same premise, but cannot remember much about it except for one particular line that stuck with me. I have tried to steer away from what I remembered about your fic (much like Severus here in this story!), and I hope I succeeded.

The title is from a quote by Barbara Kingsolver, "Memory is a complicated thing, a relative truth, but not its twin."
