Aleksei entered the lounge with a thick tome under his arm. The front cover is vibrantly colored and illustrated in typical Russian art style, gold script reading Народные Русские Сказки. He shifted it to clutch in front of him as he tentatively approached a few of the students already in there. “Hello!” he said cheerfully, hoping that one of them had been ‘Suzee’, ‘Katja’, ‘Audra’ or ‘Max’. Without photographs, he honestly wasn’t sure who he had been talking to but the amount of feminine sounding names next to each of the writers had certainly compelled him to go forward with a display of both his native language and his power. Flashing a bit of a grin, he said, “Please, don’t step on the frog.” A small green one had appeared at his feet, hopped a few paces away, and vanished. “I will start with tale of the Frog Princess- or, po-russki, Tsarevna Lyagushka.” |
