Lucy and I chatted on it, and we decided to open Island of Storms on May 3rd! That doesn't mean that you have to have your apps finished by then; holds last until five days after the game opens! We just wanted to let you all know.

We've also decided to turn Immune into a GPSL, so that there are fewer restrictions and whathave you, and we can always come back to it how and whenever we want to!

So, I want to preface this by saying that we are not closing Immune!

But, we wanted to let you guys know that Lucy and I (with some help from Mandy and Liz) are starting up a new game! We wanted you guys to get in "on the ground floor," so to speak!

The game takes place on a mystical desert-island, after a cruise ship crash!

We've got a combination of recreated Immune characters and new characters in the works, so why don't you come on over and check it out with us!

Again, we aren't closing Immune, we just thought we could all use a fresh start, too!

This is Angel Yardley (age 23). She's coming in new to Sing Sing, after having survived the past year in the city while the rebels were busy setting up this free colony. Her parents died in the fire that the rebels caused in Grand Central, so there many be a little resentment buried there, but for the most part, she's just happy to finally be away from the city.

She's hopefully going to be my friendly muse, because my other two are just plain difficult. XD

I've already got a few things plotted for her. Regan's going to find her in town on Friday, she's going to be bitten and thrown into Quarantine, so while I'm introing her OOCly now, she technically won't be at Sing Sing until Friday.

Friends for her would be lovely. Or just general people to talk to. Maybe she can answer some character's questions about what's going on back in NYC? Like, updates on family members or something to that effect. She's got an interest in studying zombies, too, so maybe she can help out Team Science?

So, since everyone seemed to be in favor of the character spotlights returning, here's what we're going to do: we're going to let you choose who the first spotlight is on!

We'll start with a nomination round. Each player can nominate two characters for potential spotlighting. Post your nominations here, and on Thursday, we'll round up nominations and put together a voting round. After another couple of days, we'll put together a character spotlight!

After the spotlight, all spotlights will be randomized from here on out.

Hey guys!

We just posted a huge round of ads, and since we're hoping to get some new blood with the new ad Lucy made, we're going to actually have to start enforcing things like sweeps! We've been really lenient these last few months, but for the sake of fairness to the people who consistently make activity every month, we're going to get serious about it. Our sweeps policy is very easygoing, and we hope you can understand.

We're also making a very slight change to the requirements: 1 thread and 2 journals/texts post per month, per character, as opposed to one of each. We figure that's not a lot to ask.

And while we have you? We used to do character spotlights way back in the day. They used to be a really fun character development activity for both the askees and the askers. How would you guys feel about reviving those?

SO. Turns out the internetlessness was a false alarm. XD

Time Warner is awesome and we got interwebs like TWO HOURS after we started moving our stuff in. Of course this meant that we got almost nothing accomplished for the rest of the day, but... XD

I AM STILL AROUND. Mostly in evenings for the next few days, but yeah. <3

This is just a note to say that I'm dropping Jackie. I've been trying to reawaken her muse and I liked the ideas that were plotted with other characters, but she's become another character that's hard for me to play, so I'm just gonna let her go.

She wouldn't leave Sing Sing, so consider her an NPC who wanders around and helps out with gym things and etc.
